七年级英语(上) 冠词的用法
冠词的分类
冠词可以分为不定冠词（a/an）、定冠词（the）和零冠词（不用冠词）, 放在名词前。冠词的用法
一、不定冠词的用法：用于单数可数名词前, 不可数名词前不能加a/an ，
基本用法: 表示的意思是“一个”。
a用于辅音音素开头的词前；而an则用于元音音素开头的词前。
例如：The little boy eats an apple, and the little girl eats a banana.
1．用于可数名词的单数形式前，表示“一”。
There is an apple on the plate.
2．第一次提到某人或某物。
This is an English-Chinese dictionary.The dictionary is mine
There is a book , the book is his .
3．表示一类人或物。
A tiger is a dangerous animal.
He is a teacher .
4作“每一”讲。
例如：three times a day, 每天三次10 yuan a kilo 每公斤10元
six classes a day 每天6节课thirty miles an hour每小时30英里
5. 在一些固定搭配中
a lot of/ a little/ a few/ a pair of/ a set of once upon a time 从前
take/have a look 看一看
注意：a/an和one 的区别：a/an 表示类别种类One 强调数量
a bus （表示是一辆公交车而不是一辆小汽车也不是火车）
one bus (强调是一辆车而不是两辆或三辆)
There is a cat under the chair. 椅子下面有一只猫。（强调种类）
There is one cat under the chair.椅子下边有一只猫。（强调数量）
二、定冠词的用法：用于可数名词和不可数名词前
基本用法：表示特指是this/these/that/those的总称,可译为：“这，这个，这些、那，
那个，那些”
1特指某（些）人或某（些）事物，
The man over there is our English teacher.
The red car is mine .
The girl in a pink skirt is Mary .
2 第二次提到某人或某物，用定冠词the
Look! There is a ball under the table. The ball is mine.
Tom has an apple, The apple is big and red.
There is a boy under the tree.The boy is my brother.
3 用于指说话双方都知道的事物或人。
Open the door , please !
Would you mind closing the window?
4演奏某项乐器时，乐器前需加the。如：
play the drums/play the piano/ play the violin
5 放在序数词前。
Monday is the second day of the week.
6. 放在形容词最高级前。
He is the tallest in our class.
7 表示世上独一无二的事物。
The earth goes around the sun.
The moon goes around the earth .

8用于方位前
The sun rises in the east.
The post office is on the left .
9. 定冠词放在姓氏复数前，表示“……一家”。
The Greens are from Australia.
10 定冠词和形容词连用，也可以代表某类人或物。
the poor, 穷人the old 老人the rich 富人the young ,年轻人the good 好的东西
.11 在江河、山脉、湖泊、海洋、群岛、海峡、海湾运河前用the。
the Changjang River 长江
the West Lake 西湖the Pacific Ocean 太平洋
12 在一些固定搭配中。
如：the capital of China 中国的首都
in the morning in the afternoon 在下午
in the evening 在晚上all the year round 一年到头
三、零冠词的用法：所谓零冠词，即指不使用冠词的情况
1 三餐、球类、棋类前不用冠词。
After we have lunch, we will play football.
We often play chess .
2季节、月份、星期、节日、日期等时间名词前，
We have four seasons- spring, summer, autumn and winter
一年有四季：春夏秋冬
We often go to sea a film on Sunday. 我们经常周日去看电影。
Tomorrow is National Day. 明天是国庆节。
3学科，语言之前，不加冠词
We learn Chinese,math,English,geography,science and biology .
4名词前有形容词性物主代词，名词所有格，指示代词，修饰时(this，my，that，those，these，her)如：

5专有名词前通常不用定冠词：

固定短语：
by bus 乘坐公共汽车after school 放学后in bed 卧床
