Summary for Lesson 1
In this lesson, the professor mainly talks something about this course, such as aims,
material. There are two basic aims in this course. The first one is to change students’
personality. The professor wants to make his students richer people, broader people by
instilling students with an unending deep and a biding understanding of a classical
music. And also, he wants his students to learn more than music in this course and can
lead their life in a proper way. The second one is to impact to his students a love of
classical music if he is successful in his teaching.
Next, he recommends his students some material such as CDs and books. Actually
at first I am not interested in classical music for I knew nearly noting about it. Later
he introduces the pedagogical techniques that he uses in teaching “Listening to

3、dialogue 对话, 可以指正式国家与国家会谈 : China and Korea are having a dialogue.
4、chat 闲聊, 就是北京人说的 “侃” , 说的是无关紧要的事.
5、gossip 嚼舌头, 说长道短
