一分为二议论文写作教学设计

一、教学目标:

1.知识目标

①明确一分为二议论文书面表达的要求,学会在规定时间内完成审题、确定文体、抓住要点、组织语言、书写修改等一系列任务。

②学会内容表达的完整性、行文的连贯性、遣词造句的准确性。

2.能力发展目标

通过由词到句子再到文章的训练,使学生学会一分为二议论文的写作方法,提高学生写作水平。

3.思想情感目标

①通过写作,教育学生积极参与、主动思维、大胆实践。

②感受"合作学习"是一种非常有效的学习策略。

二、学情分析:

大多数学生的写作能力仍然很差.学生写作上存在着用汉语思维方式造句、语法错误多、谋篇布局与衔接能力弱等问题。

三、重点难点:

帮助学生学会写一分为二的议论文。 四、教学过程:

Step 1 Lead-in

Listen to an English song by Justine Bieber. and then ask students a

question: "do you like listening to music?"通过播放一首英文歌激发学生的学习兴趣,同时引到关于听MP3的一篇作文。

(一)

假定你是李华,最近你班就“中学生听MP3”的现象进行了一次讨论,请你将以下讨论结果给某英文报社写信,客观反映情况。词数100左右。

Step 2 Steps for writing

引导学生审题,分析出体裁、人称、时态。

1. Collect the key words(首先每四人一组讨论根据作文要求所用到的词和短语,然后抢答出答案。)

listen to MP3 player 同意(40%) 时髦;听音乐使人放松;

(60%) 浪费时间、影响学习;

总听对听觉有害;

2. Make sentences(连词成句——把给分点写成五个汉语句子,翻译成英文;并分别由五名同学在黑板上写出答案,然后全班来查找改正错误并优化句子。)

(1).Recently our class has had a discussion about whether middle

school students should listen to MP3 player.

(2).40% of them are in favor of the idea, thinking it fashionable to

listen to MP3 player.

(3).Others are against it.

(4).They believe that it is a waste of time to listen to MP3 player,

which has a bad effect on our study.

(5).We should make good use of an MP3 player and limit the time for

listening.

3.Add conjunctions and transitional words(连词成篇——添加适当的连接词使文章连贯,并总结一分为二议论文会用到的表示不同关系的连接词、过渡词。)

递进强调: besides/apart from/ what’s more/ in addition/ furthermore/

moreover/worse still/ to make matters worse…

转折: though/although/but/however/despite/in spite of…

对比: on the contrary/on the other hand/while

列举说明: firstly/ first of all/ to begin with, .... secondly… thirdly…

finally/ last but not least, ....

4.Form a passage(三段式的一分为二议论文的篇章结构,展示最终完整的一篇作文,并总结出一分为二议论文的写作模板。)

Recently our class has had a discussion about whether middle

school students should listen to MP3 player.

40% of them are in favor of the idea, thinking it fashionable to

listen to MP3 player. Besides, listening to music makes us

relaxed .However, Others are against it. Firstly, They believe that it is

a waste of time to listen to MP3 player, which has a bad effect on our

study. What's more,listening too much does harm to hearing.

In my opinion, We should make good use of an MP3 player and

limit the time for listening.

Pattern:

Recently , we have had a discussion on/about whether we should _____________.

Secondly, ________. Finally, _______. However, the others are

Step 3 Practice

Ask students to write a composition by themselves by cooperating in their groups, then show one composition and evaluate it together with students and correct the mistakes.(小组分工合作完成作文的写作,展示一组同学的作文,大家一起来评价讨论这篇作文并集体修改。)

假如你是李华,你们班针对现在有很多学生网上交友(make friends

online)这一现象开了班会,请你根据下表提示用英语写一篇文章,客观反映讨论情况并说明自己的观点。

支持(30%) 可以广交朋友,可以自由表达意见,有利于学习外语。

反对(70%) 浪费了应该花费在学习上的时间,可能受骗(cheat)。 我的观点 网上交友不是个好注意,和同学交朋友更好更安全。

Step 4 Consolidation

Together with the students, review the whole steps of writing a

composition about agreement and disagreement.

Step 5 Homework

1.Recite composition 1

2.Finish composition 2 and hand it in tomorrow.

五、教学反思

本节课从学生感兴趣的音乐导入新课,由词到句,再到篇,循序渐进,由浅入深,指导学生掌握完成议论文的写作方法。并利用投影仪将学生现场写作的作文展示,师生共同改评,有利于学生及时纠正错误,提高学得意识。通过这节写作课,不仅提高了学生的写作能力,同时也提高了学生的阅读和改错的能力。但仍有不足之处,教师应指导学生将写作中出现的精彩词汇和句型及时总结,为今后的写作做出积累。
