Unit1 How many?

一、教学目标:

1、知识目标:①能听、说、认、读one to eight这8个数字。

②能用“how many?”询问数量。

2、技能目标:

能口头运用“how many?”询问数量,并用one to eight回答

3、情感目标:

调动学生的主动性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣及用英语思维的习惯。

二、教学重难点:

1、重点:能听说认读one to eight这8个数字。

2、难点:用“how many?”询问数量。

三、教具准备:

ppt、单词卡片、扑克牌

四、教学过程:

Step1. Greetings.

Step2. Warmer up.

Enjoy a song: Ten little Indians.

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,营造英语学习的氛围,初步感知本课要学习的内容。)

Step3. Lead-in.

Look at the picture. What’s this? It’s a rabbit. There are four rabbits. What are they doing? They’re crossing the road.What are they saying? let’s

listen.

(设计意图:通过引导学生观察图片,直接导入本课的学习内容。)

Step4.Activity1.

Listen to Activity 1.

Teach the numbers one to four.

Look, they’re traffic lights. We should obey the traffic rules and take care

when we cross the road. Let’s act it out.

(设计意图:通过表演活动一,调动学生的积极性,并培养学生遵守交通规则的意识)

Step5.Activity 2.

Look, the magician panda comes again.What magic does he bring?Let’s

see. What’s this? It’s a hat. What are in the hat? Oh, habbits. How many

rabbits are there in the hat at last? Let’s watch and find out.

Watch the CD-ROM and answer the question. How many rabbits? Eight.

Watch and repeat. Teach the numbers five to eight.

Step6.Practice.

1) Game: Which number is missing?

Show the pupils the numbers one to eight, and let them find out the

missing number. 2) Magic cards.

3) Numbers in life.

Let the pupils say out the car numbers.

4) Group work.

these phone numbers. They are very useful in our life.
