一、课程的性质与任务 课程性质:本教程是通识平台必修课。 课程任务:本课程的任务是使学生通过本大纲所规定的全部教学内容的学习,掌握该教材中的词、句、语篇等,达到具有听、说、读、写、译等多方面的语言技能和综合应用能力,为后续课程的学习准备必要的知识,最终达到能够在今后工作和社会交往中用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流的水平。

(2)develop reading skills—find out word meanings. (3)learn the language—master the key language points and grammatical structures in the text. (4)integrate the four skills—conduct a series of reading, listening, speaking and writing activities related to the theme of the unit.
