About one hundred countries in the world have their national
flowers and treat them as the symbols of friendship, happiness, peace and
so on. From the national flower, we can not only enjoy the beauty, but
also feel the uniqueness of the country. Now, let us enjoy some national
flowers.
Firstly, national flower of China. China is the only one in big
countries which has not established its national flower, because there are
two different points in the establishment. Many people say pony deserve
to be the national flower, but some others support plum blossom.
Personally speaking, both pony and plum blossom are characteristic.
As is known to all, France is a romantic place. But except for
romance, France is also famous for flowers and its capital Paris has the
reputation of “flower city”. Its national flower is liris, which is very
similar to lily, so many people may be confused. Actually they are two
different kinds of flowers. We can see clearly the differences between
them from the picture.
The former Soviet Union loved sunflower very much and took it as
their country flower, now the Russian still regard it as national flower.
Sunflowers are of great values, they devote themselves to human beings.
Moreover they can also give people a feeling of great hopes. So a
depressed man may become optimistic hopeful and when he encounters a
blossomed sunflower.
Holland is the so-called “garden of flower”, when it comes to
Holland, we could not help mentioning its national flower, namely tulip.
In Holland, tulip represents the nice, graveness, luxury and success.
The next one, what is it? Yes it is cherry blossom, the national
flower of Japan, which is very charming. Japanese people treat cherry
blossom as the symbol of diligence, independence, braveness and
wisdom. We can cherry blossoms everywhere in all parks in Japan, which
can be a feast for eyes. So, if you travel in Japan one day, just don’t miss
enjoying the cherry blossom.
In September 23, 1986, America congress took rose as their
national flower. Americans treat rose as the avatars of love, peace,
friendship, coverage and devotion.
Lotus in India is always intimately related with ancient religions.
The Indians take lotus as the symbol of auspiciousness, safety and hopes,
besides, they also metaphor it as hero and Buddha. Personally speaking,
lotus looks very sacred.
Italy’s national flower is daisy, which features in tiny flowers and
harmonious colors. Daisy blossoms in early spring and is deeply loved by
the Italians.
