学习目标

1、知识目标:能够识记并运用本单元重点词汇和短语(详见单词表),以及重点句型(详见课本第3页Grammar Foucus)。

语法:(1)情态动词can的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句、肯定回答、否定回答、特殊疑问句。

(2)谈论意愿的句型:

——What club do you want to join?

——We want to join the chess club.

2、能力目标:能够谈论自己的喜好和意愿;能够为自己成立的各种俱乐部制作海报;会写招聘广告。

3、情感目标:通过实践让学生体验学习的乐趣,并能勇于展示自己的才能,通过小组活动谈论彼此的特长与爱好,使学生能相互学习,培养团队精神。

课前自学

一.语法:

情态动词can 的用法

表示体力或智力上的能力,“能,会”

例如:I can dance. 我能跳舞。

表示可能性,“可能,会”在否定句中用can’t,表示不可能。

例如:Can the news be true? It can’t be true.

表示请求或许可,相当于may,意为可以。

例如:Can I use your bike? You can’t talk here.

归纳:情态动词can本身具有一定的含义,不能单独作谓语,没有人称或数的变化,后面须接动词原形一起构成谓语。含有情态动词can的陈述句,其否定句式是在can 后面加not。一般疑问句是把can 提到句首。其肯定回答是Yes,主语+can; 否定回答是No,主语+can’t.

例如:They can swim. 否定句:They can’t swim.

Can they swim? Yes, they can./ No, they can’t.

例:1. 你会弹吉他吗?是的,我会。

二.1.play the guitar. 弹吉他 演奏某种乐器用“play+the+乐器名词”结构,表示“演奏;弹奏;吹奏”。如:play the guitar;play the violin;play the piano;play the drums。但汉语音译为英语的乐器前不加定冠词the,如play erhu 拉二胡。

拓展:打球、下棋常用“play+球类、棋类”结构,如play soccer,play basketball, play chess,play games, play cards.

例:1 I like playing _____ guitar, but I don’t like playing ____ chess.

2.I want to join the art club. 我想加入美术俱乐部。

join(动词)表示“参加;加入”,在本单元中指加入社团或组织,成为其中的成员。例如:join the army 参军;join the Young Pioneers加入少先队;join the NBA加入美国的全国篮球协会.join in/ take part in 参加,加入某种活动。 May I join in your game?

tell告诉 tell sb sth/tell sth to sb

say说 say sth to sb

talk交谈,聊天 talk to sb/talk about sth/talk with sb.

▲ say一般作及物动词用,着重说话的内容. eg: He can say his name. 他会说他的名字。

Please say it in English. 请用英语用。

▲ speak强调说的动作,不强调所说的内容 。作及物动词时,常以某种 语言作宾语。作不及物动词时,常见的搭配形式有: speak English谈到某事(某人)speak to sb 跟某 人讲话,此外speak还可用于在较为正式的场合了表演讲或演说。 Can you speak Japanese? 你会说日语吗? She is speaking to her teacher. 他昨天在会上讲了话。

▲ talk 一般为不及物动词,意思是“交谈,谈话,着重强调两具之间的 相互说话。 eg: She

is talking with Lucy in English. 她正在和露茜用英语交谈。 What are you talking about?

你们在谈论什么? The teacher is talking to him. 老师正在和他谈话。

▲ tell常作及物动词,意为“讲述,告诉,动词常跟双宾语。 tell sb sth=tell sth to sb告诉某人某事。 eg: He is telling the children a story. 他正在给孩子们讲一个故事。 Did you tell her

the news?=Did you tell the news to her? 你把这个消息告诉她了吗? tell sb about sth.告诉某人关于某事。

5.You are good at telling stories.

1.be good at 意为“擅长„„”,后接名词、代词或ving形式。例如: I’m good at playing

chess. 我擅长下象棋。

2.be good with意为“灵巧的;与„„相处得好”。 例如: She is good with her hands. 她手很巧。 He is very good with the children. 他与这些孩子处得很好。

3.be good to意为“对„„友好”。 例如: My friend was good to me when I was ill. 我生病时我的朋友对我关怀备至。

4.be good for意为 “对„„有好处”。例如: Eating more vegetables is good for your health.

多吃蔬菜对你的健康有好处。

例:1.Drinking milk is good________our health.
