The Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard
for describing language ability. It divides language
proficiency into six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
English level three is roughly equivalent to CEFR level B1,
while English degree level is roughly equivalent to CEFR
level C1.
B1 (English Level Three)。
At CEFR level B1, learners can:
Understand the main points of clear standard input on
familiar topics.
Deal with most situations likely to arise while
traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
Produce simple connected text on topics that are
familiar or of personal interest.
Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and
ambitions.
Give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
