3、用英语向别人介绍自己的朋友及其特征。

教具准备：卡片，课件、光盘等。

教学流程：（一）、Greeting and review（2分钟）1、Greeting：T: Good morning boys and girls. How are you？2、Review：（让学生热身完了再坐下。

PEP小学英语四年级上册Unit 3 My friendsPart A （Let’s learn Let’s chant）第一课时教学设计一、教材分析本课时是本单元的第一课时，内容包括Part A Let’s learn和Let’s chant两部分。

重点是学会通过常见词汇和句子简单的描述人物（第三人称）的外貌特征。

这些词汇词紧密贴近学生生活实际和好奇心强的特点。

在刚刚学过介绍教室（Unit 1）的基础上，很自然的引入本单元的学习。

本单元重点介绍如何简单描述他人（friends）的性格或外貌特征，由于三年级已经接触过一些介绍人物的知识，学生对本单元相对容易接受。

二、学情分析：四年级学生的年龄在10-11岁左右，生性活泼好动，好奇心强，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣。

而他们接触英语已有一年时间，已具备初步的听说能力。

再来，本单元将会接触到介绍人物的诸多词汇，相信必能很好地调动学生的学习积极性。

通过以上分析，我采用了创设情境法、TPR、表演法、交际法、游戏法以及小组合作等多种教学方法，通过多媒体的辅助教学，在课堂中促使学生多听、多读、多说，形成自主、探究式学习。

三、教学目标：（1）知识目标: 能听、说、认读tall、short、friendly、strong、quiet、thin 等描述人物的单词和词组。

（2）能力目标: 能够运用“I have a good friend. He is tall and strong. Who is he？His name is...”等句子向别人简单介绍自己的朋友及其特征。

（3）情感目标: 增加朋友之间的友谊，建立正确的互爱互助的朋友关系。

四、教学重、难点：（1）教学重点：掌握描述人物特征的词汇并能简单描述他人的体貌和性格特征。

（2）教学难点：①quiet的发音，不能发成[kwait]，教师可借助手势帮助学生了解这个单词的意思；②能分辨he和she，his和her，并能正确使用它们。
