Coking wastewater treatment progress
Abstract:
with the development of industry, the industry of coking wastewater treatment
problem is more and more attention. Especially in our country, China is now the world's
coke
production power. Coking wastewater treatment problem is especially important. The
excess
emissions of coking wastewater once, will be of great harm to the environment. The
following
will make an analysis about the present situation of the coking wastewater treatment, wastewater
treatment in coking technology of physical chemistry, biochemistry, and management technology
abroad.

Now coking wastewater [1] treatment are mostly using common activated sludge
process, the waste water in the atmosphere, cyanide, etc have certain heat
removal
efficiency, and poor efficiency of COD and NH3-N place, even there is no way
to
destination. Production practice shows that the waste water toremove the
main
difficulties of coking wastewater is the removal of organic matter and NH3-N, due to
the ammonia nitrogen and organic matter such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons
have toxicity and inhibitory effect on microorganism, is the defect of
coking
wastewater treatment technology and wastewater treatment cost is higher.
Now
mature processing method mainly coking wastewater with physical method, chemical
method, biological method and chemical method; Now, most of the coking plant
is
mainly comprehensivetreatment of coking wastewater biochemical method
and
physicochemical method.
1、Pretreatment of coking wastewater
Coking wastewater in the part nor easily biodegradable organic matter, need to
adopt the appropriate pretreatment technology. The pretreatment of the
commonly
used method is the anaerobic acidification method. This is a kind of
between
anaerobic anaerobic-aerobic process, its function mechanism is through
anaerobic
microbial hydrolysis and acidification of refractory organic matter chemical structure
changes, make easily degradable materials. Coking wastewater after anaerobic acidification pretreatment can improve the aerobic biodegradation of
refractory
organic matter performance, create favorable conditions for the subsequent
aerobic
biological treatment.
2、The secondary processing
The coking wastewater generally first pretreated by conventional
methodand
then biological dephenolizing secondary processing. However, coking
wastewater
after the treatment, cyanide, COD and ammonia nitrogen in wastewater
effluent
indexes are still hard to
amount to mark. Aiming at this situation, scholars at home
and abroad in recent years has carried out a lot of research work [2], developed many
coking wastewater treatment technology is more effective.
2.1 Physical and chemical treatment
Adsorption method Adsorption method is to adopt the method of adsorbent
to
remove pollutants. Activated carbon has a good adsorption performance and
stable
chemical properties, is one of the most commonly used adsorbent. The depth of the
activated carbon adsorption method is suitable for wastewater treatment.
However,
because of activated carbon regeneration system operation is difficult, device of the
high cost of running, not widely used in the coking wastewater treatment. Liu Junfeng
[3], such as using high temperature furnace slag filtration, reoccupy nankai
brand
H-103 macroporous resin adsorption process containing phenol 520 mg/L, COD 3200
mg/L coking wastewater, the treatment of phenol water content or less 0.5
mg/L,
COD acuities were 80 mg/L, meet the national discharge standard. Huang Niandong [4]
to study the cinder of coking wastewater purification effect. They filter speed onthe
particle size, pH, solution and the influence factors of various factors on
the
adsorption capacity for the inspection, the results showed that phenol 30 mg/L liquid,
the flow velocity 4.5 mL/min, pH 2-2.5, the temperature 25℃ condition, the removal
rate of phenol was 98%.
2.2 Biological chemical method
Biochemical method is the use of microbial oxidation, decomposition, adsorption
of organic pollutants in wastewater treatment, this method is the most widely used in
