教学反思
There are 10 parts in unit 3. I’ll finish them in 6 periods. And Part A is the first one. In the previous units, Ss learnt about the future tense. They can use “be going to do sth.” to describe things will happen in the future. But it’s still hard for them to choose the right tense according to different situations. In this period, we continue using the future tense. Ss need to master some new phrases by using the sentences they learnt before. Then they can use future tense to talk about sports.
In this lesson, I’ll divide my teaching aims into the following parts:
First, Aims of knowledge: Ss will be able to master the new phrases correctly.
Second, Aims of abilities: Ss will be able to use different sentence patterns to talk about sports. At the same time, they are supposed to use future tense in communications.
Third, Aims of learning strategy: With group work and role play, Ss will be able to introduce different sports.
Last, Aims of affect and attitude: Let Ss know that everyone has his own abilities. To be confident and never give up easily.
Let’s talk about key points and difficulties.
I think our key points should be the listening, understanding & speaking of the new words. It is hard for students to pronounce the words with double consonants (e.g. throw, skip) so we should pay more attention to it.
As I said before, the usage of future tense is not easy for students. Encourage students to be creative and open-minded to think about more things they can do will be the difficult part as well.
For the teaching methods:
According to children’s psychological feature, I’ll mainly use TPR teaching method to arouse their interests. And Task-based Teaching Method will encourage the students to study more effectively.
Pictures & multimedia will be fully used in this class.
After this lesson, most of the students can talk about some sports with future tense and communicate fluently. Students can get involved into the activities and practice during the class. However some students still cannot fully master the usage of new phrases. The next class students will have more chances to practice their speaking.。
