According to our observation,there is a high demand for secondhand goods in

UIBE,such as secondhand phone,used books. for example,graduates can’t take

everything away when they graduate from this school。 so they choose to sell some of

articles to others. students in our schools always carry out secondhand transaction on

bbs.sellers post on bbs to describe the second hand goods and offer the price then

someone who is cared will get in touch with the sellers.but there are lots of problems

about this pattern

As the facts prove of the 200 students in UIBE who responds our poll 80% students

are dissatisfied with this pattern.the problems can be summary as follows.

1. buyyers can’t meet their needs easily

there is no classification of goods on bbs for student to inquiry commodity .it eat up a

lots time for students to spot the type what they want.and sellers don’t always supply

adequate information about goods

2. the security of trade on bbs

the security is the key problem.make deals in this way will cause it difficult to

demand a refund on unsatisfactory rmation Asymmetry has bad influence

on trading and cause some problems like adverse selection 。it is not helpful to the

development of the secondary market in UIBE.

3 difficult to get a cheaper deal

Only by comparing warranties on similar products can consumers decide which

warranty offers the coverage that most closely meet their needs.and ger a lower

price.obviously，bbs didn't Provide comparison of similar goods so they can ‘t get

the goods with better price。

To solve these problems, we suggest school to set up the website to be a second-hand

trading platform for students .we will benefit from the following aspects if our

proposal was take

1to improve the volume and security of Secondary trading

Set up a secondary trading platform to integrate the information of the goods will improve the trading volume and the security trading.secondhand trading are spawning

considerable amounts of cash for sellers and save buyers much-need money.for

example,the purchase of second-hand teaching materials are generally accounted for

only 50% of the new books .it is a win-win for both buyers and sellers.We will

establish a strict regulations to punish false infomation to ensure the interest of buyers。

2Provide a practice platform for students

We can make students to take of this platform,so this platform will provide a

opportunity to practice。it will be a great experience for them to relate to the

commercial knowledge to business. The collection and organization modity

informations will make them become more practical.

3revenue from this project

School can earns a portion of seller' listings as the third party， revenue from the

extra services provided to the sellers.so we will benefit from this project.this platform

will become a major feature of UIBE
