Check up some pairs to act out in the front.
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
1. Lead in. Have some Ss guess
what I am going to do this
weekend. Lead out the situation I’m going to read books this
weekend. I like reading books. My hobby is reading.

2. Ask and answer with the sentence patterns below.

Use the pictures to present the words
dancing, singing,
reading stories.
Present the phonetics of the words and help Ss read and spell

2.教材分析这是本单元的第一课时。

要求学生掌握掌握五个动词的ing形式，学会单词dancing, singing的拼写并完成采访报告练习。

3.学情分析六年级是小学英语学习的最后一年，大部分学生有一定的英语基础，学生对英语学习有兴趣，积极性，主动性较高，乐于学习。

通过五年的英语学习，学生在英语方面取得了很大进步，学生在学习习惯和学习态度上有大的转变，口语表达能力、表演能力及书写能力有了提高。

两极分化现象较严重，部分学生喜欢上英语课，能取得优异的成绩，但后进生基础差，学习积极性不高，今后需要加强对后进生的辅导。

争取整体提高学生的英语素养。

本单元涉及的大部分动词短语在前六册学生用书中已经出现过，如：go to work, watch TV, 等等。

在教学中应注意激活学生的记忆，以旧引新，引导学生熟练掌握。

本单元主要学习有关业余爱好的英语表达和一般现在时的简单用法，主要句型是：What’s your hobby? I like… He/She likes… 本单元的大部分动词在前几册已经出现过，因此在教学中应注意激活学生的记忆，以旧引新，引导学生熟练掌握。
