Module 9
What's the matter?
learning aims:
1.能听懂、会认、会读laugh, matter, mistake, wear,等单词。
2.能口头运用What’s the matter?/Why are you laughing? 等语句询问原因。
3.能口头运用Because I am very happy 这类语句来回答相关问题。
教学步骤:
Step 1:Warm-up and show the learning aims
1、 Sing an English song.
2、T: Well, My kids, today I am very happy and Lingling is very happy ,too. What's the matter? Let’s have a look, OK? (板书课题并齐读) First ,please look at our
learning aims.(出示本课学习目标,教师慢慢读,学生仔细看、认真听。)
Step 2: Show the guides (指导自学)
1.Show the pictures of module9,unit 1, Let students watch the pictures carefully
and answer:
1) Who are they?
2) What are they doing?
3) Why are they laughing?
Encourage them answer in their words.
2. Text: Play the tape, students listen and underline the words they can't
understand.
4. Learn the new words in pairs.
5. Play the tape for students, and then let them listen and follow it.
6. Let students read the text in groups and then act in front of the class.
7、Act the dialogue in groups.
8、Action:
Let students act in front of the class. When they're acting, other students should
listen carefully. Then choose the best student and the best group and give the prize.
Step 3: Explain the knowledge. (精讲点拨)
(1)容易混淆的单词。
Ship——sheep face——fish big——pig cap——cup
Cat——kite hat——cat got——hot talk——walk
(2)why 的用法。
Step 4. Finish a task

learning aims:
1.能识别词汇:raincoat, 会书写单词:coat
2.学会运用Why are we wearing a raincoat? Because it’s going to rain .来询问和回答有关原因的语句。
教学步骤:
Step 1:Warm-up and show the learning aims
1、Future tense with “be going to”
2、Vocabulary and phrases: wear raincoat theatre go into be afraid of
throw…out of
3、T: Boys and girls, today we are going to learn Module 9 Unit 2Because it’s going
to rain. (板书课题并齐读) First ,please look at our learning aims.(出示本课学习教学设计
外研版英语 目标,教师慢慢读,学生仔细看、认真听。)
Step 2: Show the guides (指导自学)
1、Look at the pictures and listen to the tape carefully for “because”.
2、Play the tape again and have the students to imitate.
The teacher read the original text slowly.
3 、Look and say:Say the right, whole dialogues.
4、 let make silly sentences.
For example:
I’m wearing a dress ,because I’m going to go swimming.
Step 3: Explain the knowledge. (点拨)
(1)小组内解决自己不懂的地方。
