Unit 1 Will people have robots? (教案)

一、教材分析

本单元的主要内容是围绕 “用一般将来时做出预测” 来展开教学,引导学生通过看图说话、听力、句型操练、角色扮演等方式,使学生能够用一种新的时态对事情做出描述。本单元的主要语法内容就是“助动词will+动词原形”的一般将来时的各种用法及表示数量“更多”、“更少”(more, less, fewer)的用法。

二、教学过程

The First Period

I. Teaching aims and demands

1. The simple future tense with “will”,“助动词will+动词原形”的一般将来时态;

2. 一般将来时的各种句式,肯、否定句,一般疑问句,特殊疑问句;

3. 介词in在将来时态中的用法。

II. Teaching procedure

Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings

2. Review the Simple Future Tense we learned before. And more details.

⑴be going to + V原形 ⑵be + V-ing (现在进行时表将来)

Step 2 The Simple Future Tense with will

1. 概念:⑴表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态。

We shall/will go to see him tomorrow. 我们明天去看他。

⑵表示将来经常或反复发生的动作。

From now on I will/shall come here every day. 从现在起我将每天都来。

2、结构:助动词 shall / will + V原形

3、 shall与will的区别

4、基本句型:肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及其回答、特殊疑问句

5、特征词(时间状语):

Step 3 Exercise

1、给出下列句子的否定句,一般疑问句,特殊疑问句并给出回答。

1)Books will only be on computers.

2)Ally will study in the U.S.A. next year.

2、完成句子并作句式转换。

Step 4 Section A (1a—1c)

1. Free Talk -- Can you imagine what the life will be like in the future? Discuss with your

deskmate.

2. Show them some pictures about the life in the future. And lead them to 1a.

3. Explain the sentences in 1a.

4. Listening practice about 1b and check the answers.

5. Do pairwork according to 1b.

6. Explain to them the usages of “in” and “after”.

Step 5 Summary

1. 重点句子:

(1) People will have robots in their homes.

(2) There won’t be any paper money. Everything will be free.

(3) Books will only be on computers, not on paper.

(4) Kids won’t go to school. They’ll study at home on computers.

(5) People will live to be 200 years old.

2. 语法:

(1) “will + 动词原形”的一般将来时

(2) “in + 时间段”用于将来时态

Step 7 Homework

1.掌握一般将来时的用法并完成练习册的相关习题。

2. 掌握课本的基本句型并能对其作基本的句型转换。

教后记:

“助动词will+动词原形”的一般将来时虽说是重点,但由于前面有学过的be going to的将来时,因此对学生来说并不是很难理解和掌握的。由于谓语动词的构成有很大差别,因此学生也不容易将两者混淆。只是需要多加练习,注意“in+时间段”的时间状语,让学生熟练掌握。

The Second Period

I. Teaching aims and demands

1. Quantities with more, less, fewer(表示数量的more, less, fewer 的用法);

2. 掌握并运用不同时态:一般过去时、一般现在时与一般将来时三种时态的转换练习。

II. Teaching procedure

Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings

2. Review the usages of little and few. And ask them to make their own sentences with the

words.

Step 2 Listening practice

Listen 2a & 2b and check the answers.

Step 3 Groupwork

Make conversations according to 2b. Pay attention to the usages of less, fewer and more.

Step 4 Task--Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

根据你的生活经验,向你的同学描述你家的变化,告诉他们你们家过去、现在分别是什么样子的?在你的想象中将来你们家又会是什么样子的呢?至少列出2项。(小组活

动)

参考语言结构:

When I was young, I lived in a small house. Now we live in a tall building. I think in the

future, we will live in a house under the water…

(要注意时态的变化)

Step 5 The changes of Sally’s life

Look at the picture of Sally. Then fill in the blanks in the sentences. Check the answers.

Step 6 Pariwork

According to the pictures above in 3a, make conversations about Sally life in the past, now

and in the future. (注意时态的变化)

Step 7 About yourself

Fill in the blanks and share your items with your classmates.

Step 8 Summary

1. 重点句子:

(1) There will be less free time.

(2) There will be fewer trees.

(3) -- Will there be less pollution? -- No, there won’t. There will be more pollution.

2. 语法:

(1) 表示数量的词more, less及fewer的用法;

(2) 掌握不同时态的区别并能熟练运用。
