Lesson17 说课稿Good morning, everyone. I am Lixiangling from ErQuanjing primary school. It is my great honor to stand here to present my lesson. The teaching content is Lesson 17of unit 3of the English book 7.This unit is mainly about: Winter in Canada, The title of this lesson is Seasons. Now I will explain the lesson from the following aspects.Part one: Analysis of the teaching materialFirstly, let’s focus on the analysis of teaching content.This lesson is an important lesson in Unit 2.It includes 3 parts, I mainly talk about part2 and part3. In part 2, it mainly deals with these key words: line, circle, square, triangle and shape. And, it also deals with the pattern: How many lines make a …? And What’s your favorite shape? Such topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English.Secondly, it is about the students.Our students are in Grade 6, They are active and curious, interested innew things. After learning English for 3 years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. According to the contents and the fact of the students. I established the following teaching aims.I set the following aims.1. The first one is language knowledgeBy the end of the lesson, students will be able to read, recognize, and use these words: line, circle, square, triangle and shapeAnd, these sentences: How many lines make a …? And What’s your favorite shape?Ss can understand the ways to remember the words, and know how to ask other people’s preference.Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking will be developed.3. The third one is emotional aimIn this lesson, the emotional aim is to help students cultivate and foster their abilities of working in groups.To help Ss cultivate their abilities to analyze and solve problems independently.4. And, the importance and difficulty of this lesson is:To make sure that Ss can use the new words to talk about the pattern: How many lines make a …? And What’s your favorite shape?Part 2:Teaching methods and Learning methodsIn this lesson, I will mainly use Visual presentation method, Game method and Communicative teaching method. As we all know, the main teaching aims of learning English in the primary school is to cultivate stude nts’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. To use these methods are helpful to develop their abilities, also it can attract their interests. I use some pictures, a tape recorder and the multi-media computer to help me achieve the aims. Students learning the new words by looking at the pictures and practicing. Because practice is the one of the basic form inprimary English class. In class, students are the main body, teacher makes a guider. I just help them to learn the knowledge, I think it can stress their position and arouse their interests.Part 3 Teaching proceduresTo accomplish the aims, I design the following steps.I will finish the lesson in 4 steps.Step 1.Greeting and RevisionIt will cost about 5 mins.After greeting with the Ss, I will begin the lesson by singing the song together with the Ss. Then I show some pictures about weather to review part 1.The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss, and, at the same time, it provides situations to review the learnt knowledge about weather.Step 2. PresentationIt will cost about 10 mins.With the help of the PPT, I show a picture of xiyangyang who brings some gifts to stimulate the Ss’ int erest of the lesson. Then I will lead to the new words: line, circle, square, triangle and shape by showing pictures.By playing the PPT, I show pictures and material object to teach the new words. And then, I stick these shapes on the blackboard and let students read them. Next I use three lines to make a shape, and lead to the pattern: How many lines make a triangle? How many lines make a square? After presenting each new word, I say:"My favourite shape is a circle, because the donuts are circle. I like to eat donuts.Then I ask students: what’s your favorite shape?(Ask several students) Then listen to the tape and find Danny's favourite shape.The purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in the situation, which relates to the Ss’ real li fe experiences, to help the Ss understand the language easily and natuStep3. PracticeI use some games to practice these words. For example, high and low practice, boys and girls practice, radish squat, Chinese and English practice.Also I make a chant for Ss to remember the words.Ss work in pairs to practice the sentence: what’s your favorite shape?The purpose of this is to draw the whole Ss’ attention to remember the words and sentences.Step4. ConclusionIn this step, I will guide the Ss to conclude the key words line, circle,square, triangle and shape.
