二、课程性质与任务
《专业英语》是人力资源管理专业的一门实用性较强的选修课。它的任务是在培养学生了解有关人力资源管理知识的基础上,掌握英语听、说、读、写能力,从而使学生能自如得体地运用语言、熟悉并掌握当代人力资源管理理念和方法,提高作为人力资源管理工作者的基本素质,为学生毕业后从事人力资源管理工作打下基础。
通过本课程的学习,使学生达到以下要求:
1)听力能力要求:能基本听懂正常语速的一般人力资源管理活动中的电话、对话、谈判、会议发言等;
2)阅读能力要求:能读懂中等难度的人力资源管理英语文章,了解作者的观点和态度。阅读速度为每分钟120—160个单词,理解准确率在75%以上;
3)口语能力要求:能够用英语介绍公司状况,进行工作咨询,与员工交流,做简单的工作报告等;
4)写作能力要求:能够运用所学语言知识,写出基本符合格式规范的一般性报告、文书、会议纪要和电子邮件等;
5)英汉互译能力要求:能够翻译一般性人力资源管理材料。三、课程内容基本要求及学时分配
