一:信息技术与课程整合设计

(一)设计理论

1. To treat the information as a bridge and regard

teaching with interest as a main line.

2. To create the situation as teaching means, aiming at

using the language from every aspect.

(二)设计内容

1. To play the video to arouse the students’

lead in the text.

2. To display the pictures to let the students know more

about the body language and non-verbal communication.

3. To encourage the students t o make up conversations and act them out.

4. To use the interests to widen their knowledge.

(三)教学应用

1. Information technology is the best approach to arouse

the students’ interests of learning English and the best bridge to help the students c omprehend the teaching contents well.

2. It is also the best means to train the students to use the

language effectively and the most perfect platform to update the English learning methods.

main idea and know the hurricane and

the tornado.

Ability aim:Use their own words to write a

composition.

Emotional aim:To increase their awareness of being

ready to help others.

Step 1. Pre-reading--------Lead-in

1) Show the students some pictures about the natural disasters a nd a video about the tornado in the USA.

2) Ask the students to name the disasters according

to the pictures.

Step 2. While- reading

1) Brainstorm

Let the students think up the verbs and the phrases which they can use to express the disasters and the expression to the response to the disasters.

2) Scanning.

A. Do a thorough reading and fill in the blanks.

B.Listen to the recording of the text and then answer the following questions.
