摘要
随着翻译的跨学科发展，从认知语言学角度对翻译进行探索和研究己经悄然兴起。翻译作为人类的一种实践活动，涉及到人对语言符号的认知理解。数字习语是一种特殊的语言符号，体现了人类语言的不断丰富和发展。它的形成离不开一定的社会条件和经济文化背景。而数字习语的翻译绝不仅仅是两种语码的简单转换，更多的要考虑到数字习语在不同语言中的多方面的差异，这就需要对其进行准确而全面的认知理解。本文从认知语言学的角度出发，运用认知语言学家菲尔墨 (ChariesFillmore)的框架理论对英汉数字习语展开对比分析，对其理解和翻译的过程进行阐释。
菲尔墨 (CharlesFillmore)认为框架理论是研究词义及句法结构的一种认知论，在同一框架中，对任何一个概念的理解必然要涉及到框架内其他相关的概念，用以强调人的理解在语言使用中的重要作用。在菲尔墨 (CharlesFinmore)看来，框架的认知功能在于，框架内的一个角色一旦被提及，可能激活整个认知框架，人们在理解语言所表达
的意义时很大程度上是借助了被激活的认知框架。

第本理论一一认知框架理论及其对语言现象分析的作用和对翻译研究的指导意义。第三部分基于框架理论对英汉数字习语进行分析，并对其差异作出认知阐释。第四部分则从框架理论来看英汉数字习语的翻译，讨论了数字习语在英汉两种语言中的框架转换过程和策略。第五部分则是结论部分，总结了论文的主要发现并提出不足与建议。
数字习语的翻译是翻译中的一个复杂环节。前人虽有不少人其
做过分析与研究，但从认知框架理论视角的探讨却是一种新的尝试，笔者试图从中找到英汉翻译在认知层面上的科学阐释。
