八年级上册英语苏教版第二单元reading关键词进行复述
复述reading的意义:
1.有利于培养学生阅读、说话等各方面的能力
复述reading是指让学生把reading的内容用自己的话说出来。因而这一训练首先就要求学生必须认真阅读reading、熟悉reading内容,达到阅读的认知层次。这比我们常采用的课前预习时出几道思考题有效,并杜绝了学生不会说的可能。要想复述好reading,必须对reading的内容和形式有一定的了解,知道该文重点写了哪些材料,作者的写作意图是什么,文章的体裁、主要表达方式及基本思路、线索怎样等。这样,学生去阅读reading、研究reading,才能使学生的阅读能力得到锻炼和提高。
2.有利于强化学生英语知识的学习
复述reading是以reading为基本依据的,理解reading中的单词、短语、句子就成了起码的要求。单词、短语、句子读不通,reading就读不懂,更谈不上复述了,而且由于当众讲述这一特殊要求,害怕出丑的心理也会驱使学生自觉去掌握单词的读音,正确理解单词的含义。同时学生为了复述时生动、流畅,就必须注意用词准确、语句通顺。因而复述reading就要求学生对单词、短语、句子等理解,由于英语知识不能只停
留在理解上,还必须能正确地运用;不仅能运用新学的英语知识,还必须调动学生以往所学的英语知识。从这个意义上说,复述reading对学生英语知识的学习和运用起到强化作用。
3.有利于促进“师──生──教材”三位一体
教学任务的完成是教师与学生通过认真研究教材来实现的,只有当“师──生──教材”三者和谐地融为一体时,才能说达到了英语课的最佳境界。在教学中,上课时教师讲得口干舌燥,而学生却呆若木鸡。复述reading这一手段则强制学生去熟悉教材、研究教材。在学生对reading有一定的感性认识后,教师在课堂上只要能适当地启发,讲析在难点之处,点拨在恰当之时,那么学生就能始终处在积极思考之中,师生紧紧围绕教材,有讲有议,教师始终发挥主导启发作用,学生始终处于主动学习的地位,从而使学生学到了知识,锻炼了能力。

I . Analysis of the Teaching Material
This lesson is the 3rd period of this unit and it is about the past continuous tense, which is an important verb tense that
students are required to master according to the new English Curriculum. The use of this verb tense have been found in the
sentences from “Reading” section and “More Practice“ section, like “When we were staying at the hotel recently, my children
watched the fish outside their bedroom window.", "I was staying at Hotel Whale with my friends last week.”, and so on. The two
reading passages provide lots of sentence examples in which the targeted grammar items have been presented properly. The
learning of the past continuous will also help students get a better understanding of the two reading passages.
