【拓展延伸】1.pass on 表示a.继续往前进或转移到(下一个话题)

b.分开使用,即pass sth on (to sb)可表示传递物品,意思是“把某物传递(给某人)”如:Please pass it on to the next person after reading ti.

c. 常用pass sb sth 或pass sth to sb 表示把某物传递给某人。如:Please pass me the salt./Please pass the salt to me.

2. be supposed to 表示被期望或被要求,含有必须、应该做某事之意,相当于should.

3.suppose 意为“认为;期望;假定“,常用于I (don’t) suppose + that 从句中。在简略答语中可用I suppose so (我想是)或I suppose not (我想不是)”
