一、本课教学目标
1. 能够听懂、会说本单元的重点词汇和功能句。
2. 能够认读本单元的重点词汇和功能句,并能正确与规范地书写;能够读懂有关城市介绍的填空短文,并完成相应的任务。
3. 能够在相应的语境中初步运用本单元的重点词汇和功能句。
二、教学建议
A. Listen and match.
1. 请学生观察A项图片,先熟悉一下练习中涉及到的人物、场所和交通工具。教师可以问一问 Who are the boys and girl? What places are they going? 等问题。
2. 播放A项录音。学生先听一遍,整体感知听力材料的内容。
3. 教师再次播放录音两遍,学生听录音,完成连线任务。
4. 教师通过提问的方式订正答案,如:Where does Lily want to go? What does
she want to do there? How does she go there?
还可以让学生用描述的方式订正答案,如:Lily and the boy want to go to ... They
want to ... They can go there …
(答案:Lily - sports centre - take the subway, Bill - toy shop - by bus, Joy -
cinema - by car, Binbin - Green Park - on foot) Tip: 因为这是检测板块,所以可以先让学生做检测题,根据学生完成题目的情况进行查漏补缺。如果学生完成得较好,可以让学生自己归纳梳理一下之前学过的表示场所的词汇和问路指路的功能句。如果在完成听力题目的过程中,学生比较吃力,错误多,教师就要及时调整教学设计,带领学生将本单元的主要词汇和功能句重新、复习梳理一遍。

Why play games? Because they are fun, and a lot more besides. Following the
rules...planning your next move...acting as a team member...these are all“game” ideas that you will
come across throughout your life.
Think about some of the games you played as a young child, such as rope-jumping and
hide-and-seek. Such games are entertaining and fun. But perhaps more importantly, they
translate life into exciting dreams that teach children some of the basic rules they will be expected
to follow the rest of their lives, such an taking turns and cooperating(合作).
Many children's games have a practical side. Children around the world play games that
prepare them for work they will do as grown-ups. For instance, some Saudi Arabian children play a
game called bones, which sharpens the hand-eye coordination(协调)needed in hunting.

The Olympic Flag
On the Olympic flag,the rings appear on a white background(背景).
Pierre de Coubertin,the father of the modern Olympic Games,explains the
meaning of the flag:
“The Olympic flag has a white background,with five interlaced rings in the
centre:blue,yellow,black,green and red.This design is symbolic;it represents the
five continents of the world,united by Olympism,while the six colours are those
that appear on all the national flags of the world at the present time.”
Combined in this way,the six colours of the flag,(including the white of the
background)represent all nations.
It is wrong,therefore,to believe that each of the colours corresponds(与……相符)to a certain continent!
