Good morning, everybody! Now, There are two types of life condition

when you are in the sunset of your life: one is living with the family every day,

eating the delicious breakfast in the morning, traveling around the country

even all over the world with the beloved, and taking a walk with the spouse

after dinner, by the way, enjoying the gogerous senery of different seasons.

The other is staying in the hospital all day long, having no appetite for any

kinds of food, and living on the intravenous drip and watching the outside

world from the narrow and limited window. Which one do you choose?

I think most of you would like to have the first one because everybody

wants to have a happy and quality life in his later years. But how could we

have a strong body even when we are rather old? One of the great France

thinkers once said that life depends on motion. Yes, the life without sufficient

exercise is very short. Scientists have done such an experiment: they

seperated a flock of volunteers aged between 20 to 30 into two groups:

groupA and groupB. People in group A stayed in the bed for 20 days with out

any movements. While men in groupB were permitted to have exercise for

four times each day. 20 days later, people in group A felt dizzy with the

abnomal rapid heartbeats. However, volunteers in group B could work and

live as usual. Obviously, we can see from the experiment that lack of

exercise does great harm to our body.

Actually, I am not a sports fan. Doing exercise let me sweat a lot, then,

my shirts and pants will be smelly. What’s more, I will be very exhausted

after just several miles’ running. But I know that sport plays a very

important role in our bodies. On the one hand, doing sports can increase the

rate of metabolism. And keeping doing exercise every day can improve the

functions of our organs, even can delay aging and make our body be

energetic all the time. On the other hand, the proper exercise are good for

our respiratory system, digestive system and cardiovascular system. What’s

more, our confiedence will be hightened in this way. When we are dong

exercise, our intelligence can also be improved.

However, because of the lack of exercise, the health index of teenagers

is not optimistic. Recently, it is reported that the physical quality of the

students in our country is keeping decreasing, while the obesity rates are

keeping increasing. Someone said that if there is no strong body, a person

can not live a happy and fruitful life ,no matter how powerful he is. So

everybody, from now on, get out of the dorms and go to the gym to do some

exercise, such as jogging, basketball or football. Do it right now just for our

better future.
