My Drama
-----what did I get from drama
In the ninth week of this term,my class directed a drama.
The drama is interesting, named "Blackmail".
Luckily, I also played a role that was the wife
of a chief inspector named Ogilvie. At first, I
had no confidence to play the role well.
Because I was very shy, but I was required to
fight with my classmates. I didn't know what
should I do to show the plot. I can't really fight
with my classmates who played the lover of
Ogilvie. So it is difficult for me to play the role.
One week later, my friends and me
directed a short play as the homework of
An Advanced Video Course. I also got a
role. Finally, my performance was
admired by my classmates.
Besides, all students in my class were serious. Some
students were directors. Some students were
screenwriters. Some students are actors. Others
were stage managers. In a word, everyone in our
class took part in the activity. We performed the
play again and again, which cost us a lot of spare
time. I thought it a very great thing to get together
with my classmates to participate in activity.
When I really performed on stage, I was very
nervous lest I should perform badly. Especially,
other classmates who appeared on stage before me
performed very well, which made me feel stressed.
I only learned lines again and again before coming
on stage.
However, finally I overcame the difficulties and
performed successfully, which made me recognize a
reason, that is to say, to succeed, you must try. It
was really memorable experience.
Those experience made me grow, made me confident, and made me open.
