教学步骤:Step 1 Warm-up1. Greetings.2. Sing the song “London Bridge is Falling Down” to activate their vocabulary about transportation.Step 2 Presentation1. Show some pictures of different transportation.2. Use flashcards and teach the new words “station”, “train”, “bus”, “taxi”, “bike” and “walk”.3. Ask students to repeat the new words several times.Step 3 Practice1. Ask students to answer the question “How do you usually go to school?” and encourage them to give the reason why.2. Ask students to learn and practice the new sentence pattern “How to get to...?”“Go straight”, “Turnleft/right”.3. Show a picture of a station and give the following directions,“How to get to the train station?”“Go straight, turn left at the second intersection, and then you will find the train station on your right.”4. Ask students to practice asking and answering questions about getting to different places with different transportation methods.Step 4 Production1. Divide students into pairs and ask them to make a dialogue about how to get to a certain place using the new vocabulary and sentence patterns.2. Ask some pairs to demonstrate their dialogues to the class.Step 5 Consolidation1. Play a game called “Transportation Race”. Give two sets of flashcards to two students or groups. They have to pick one card and name the vehicle or transportation method as well as the sentence of how to get to a certain place. The faster and more accurate the students are, the higherthe score they will get.Step 6 Homework1. Review the new words and sentence patterns.2.
