The problem of “white pollution” is becoming more serious. Though the

government has put a nationwide ban on the use of free plastic bags, a lot of people,

including middle school students, are still using a lot of plastic shopping bags. It is

said that in China, about three billion plastic shopping bags are used every day. This

is not only a great waste of resources, but also bad for the environment.

So, I suggest that everyone use cloth bags and shopping baskets instead of plastic
