 动词的分类

一、中考要求：

中考近年主要考查连系动词be，feel，look，taste，smell等用法；及物动词和不及物动词的用法；助动词

do/does/did和have/has的用法；情态动词的用法。

二、知识要点：

1. 连系动词

连系动词也称为系动词，用于连接主语和表语，表示主语身份、性质、状态。连系动词有一定词义，但不完

整，不能单独做谓语，必须和表语连用，构成系表结构。例如：

You are a teacher, but not a good one. 你是一个老师，但不是好老师。

We feel very happy when we know it. 当我们知道这个的时候，我们都非常高兴。

英语经常用到的连系动词有：

(1) 状态连系动词：表示主语的状态、性质、身份。常用的有be。

My father is very strong. 我的爸爸非常强壮。

(2) 持续连系动词：表示继续或保持一种状态或情况。

常用的有：stay 〔保持〕，remain 〔保持〕，continue 〔继续〕等。

(3) 表象连系动词：用来表示“看起来”的这一概念的词。

常见的有 appear〔看起来〕，seem〔看似〕，look〔看起来〕。

Your mother looks much younger than I thought. 你妈妈比我想象得年轻多了。

(4) 感官连系动词：

常用的有feel〔摸起来)，taste〔尝起来)，smell〔闻起来)，sound〔听起来〕look〔看起来)。

The milk tastes a little sour. 这牛奶品尝起来有点酸。

(5) 转变或结果连系动词：become〔变为)，get〔成为)，grow〔长得)，turn〔变得)，go〔变得)等。

解题指要

中考的句型转换题主要考查学生对句子结构的构成、变化等方面知识的掌握情况。此类考题首先给出一个完整的句子，再给出一个含有几个空白处的句子，让考生根据不同的要求填入适当的词来完成句型转换。在复习中我们可以紧扣七种考查形式复习：①对画线部分提问；②陈述句改为否定句；③陈述句改为一般疑问句；④陈述句改为感叹句；⑤主动语态改为被动语态；⑥变为复合句类(注意人称、时态一致、时间状语变化、连接词等的变化)；⑦同义句(保持句意基本不变)等。

作答句型转换题时，应注意的几个问题：一是要看清题意，分析句子结构，弄清原句的句型和意思以及判别改写后的句子是什么句型，再按句子要求变换句型；二是要注意时态，在直接引语改为间接引语，简单句改为复合句的句型变化中就涉及时态的变化；三是不改变句意和句子的成分(原句的句子成分在改变句型时仍不可缺少，否则句子不完整，但有一个例外，在陈述句改为感叹句时，要增加句子成分，感叹词 what和 how分别为按句子要求而增加的定语或状语，句子其他成分不变)；最后要反复推敲，确保无误(改变后要看看意思是否与要求相符，有没有语法和习惯用法方面的错误)。

我们根据句型转换常考的几种类别，帮助考生归纳如下：

对画线部分提问类

对画线部分提问是根据画线的内容提出一个特殊疑问句，即“特殊疑问词+一般疑问句”构成。

1. 如画线部分是定语，它所修饰的词要跟随特殊疑问词移至句前。

2. 画线部分如是谓语动词，应该用助动词的形式来取代。

3. 常见疑问词(组): what, what+名词(如 what colour, what grade等),

when, why, where, who( whom), which, whose, how, how+形容词/副词(如 how long, how far, how often, how soon等)。要注意以上各种疑问词(组)的用法。例如:

一. 情态动词的类型和特征

1. 类型

○1 只作情态动词用的有：can（could），may（might），must，ought to。

○2 可作情态动词也作实义动词的有：need，dare。

○3 可作情态动词也作助动词的有：shall（should），will（would）。

○4 具有情态动词某些特征的有：have（had）to，used to。

2. 特征

情态动词有一定的词义，但不能单独作谓语，须和实义动词或系动词连用，构成谓语；且适用于主语的各种人称和数（have to例外），主语是第三人称单数时，要用has to。

二. 情态动词的基本用法

1. can与could

○1 表示能力或客观可能性，还可表示请求和允许，她存在以下几种形式：

过去式 could could not couldn’t

如Children can be troublesome sometimes.

○2 表示惊异、推测、怀疑、不相信的态度（主要用于否定句、疑问句中）。

○3 can的习惯用法

A. can but的用法

can but“只好，至多不过”，如We can but do our best.

B. cannot help but，cannot help的用法

二者都表示“不得不；不能避免；不禁”；但前者后加动词原形，后者加代词或动名词等。

如The girl couldn’t help but live on herself.

When I try to speak, I can’t help making mistakes.

C. cannot … too“无论怎样……都不过分；越……越好” 如We can’t thank you too much for what you have done for us。
