对中医的看法英语作文英文回答:Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a centuries-old system of healthcare that originated in China. It is based on the belief that the human body is a complex system of interconnected energy pathways, and that disease is caused by imbalances in these pathways. TCM practitioners use a variety of techniques to diagnose and treat illness, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage.Western medicine, on the other hand, is a relatively young system of healthcare that originated in Europe. It is based on the belief that the human body is a machine that can be fixed with drugs and surgery. Western medical practitioners use a variety of techniques to diagnose and treat illness, including physical exams, blood tests, and imaging scans. There are many differences between TCM and Westernmedicine. TCM takes a holistic approach to healing, focusing on the whole person rather than just the symptoms of their illness. Western medicine, on the other hand, takes a more reductionist approach, focusing on treating the specific symptoms of an illness.TCM is based on a different understanding of the human body than Western medicine. TCM practitioners believe that the human body is a complex system of interconnected energy pathways, while Western medical practitioners believe that the human body is a machine that can be fixed with drugs and surgery.TCM is often used to treat chronic conditions that are difficult to treat with Western medicine, such as pain, fatigue, and digestive problems. Western medicine is often used to treat acute conditions that require immediate medical attention, such as heart attacks and strokes. There is no one right way to treat illness. TCM and Western medicine are two different systems of healthcare with different strengths and weaknesses. The best approachto treatment is to use the system that is most appropriate for the individual patient and their condition.中文回答:中医是中国千年流传下来的医疗体系。

Traditional Chinese MedicineAs we all know, traditional Chinese medicine has a long history in China. It can be called simplified Chinese, which is a style of traditional medicine built on a foundation of more than 2500 years of Chinese medical practice. And there are various forms including herbal medicine, acupuncture, message, exercise, and dietary therapy. With development of society and economy, traditional Chinese medicine is influenced by modern Western medicine.Because of its variety and development, it is becoming increasingly popular and recognizes worldwide. I think the popularity of TCM is that the main ideas in treating disease. Therefore, I want to say something about the main ideas in TCM. Firstly, the concept of TCM is that the relationship between humans and nature is an interactive and inseparable whole. It means that TCM pursues the unity of humans and nature and treats many diseases with this theory.Secondly, TCM wants to reach the level of harmony on heath. Traditional Chinese doctors hold a principle that a person’s physical heath rely on harmony in the function of the various body organs. The various organs of the body are interconnected, so if you feel sick in your one organ, your other organs maybehave problems.Third, traditional Chinese medicine pays attention to individuality. When we see a Chinese doctor, the doctor will examine you by four ways of diagnosis –look, listen, ask and feel the pulse. And the doctor will treats a disease based on full consideration of the individual climatic and seasonal conditions, and environment.More and more people believe in using traditional Chinese medicine. However, some people think that TCM is not scientific. Compared with Western medicine, TCM has its different strengths. Also, TCM is absorbing the advantages of Western medicine. They work together in China to protect people from disease and improve public health. Even if traditional Chinese medicine is not scientific, it makes great progress recently. Our government takes some measures to develop TCM, for example, 130 TCM elements have been incorporated into the Representative List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.Do you remember artemisinin? It’s a gift from Traditional Chinese Medicine to the world. Tu youyou said that Chinese medicine and pharmacology are a great treasure-house. We should explore them and raise them to a higher level. By this example, we can learn the TCM is important for our life. Though somepeople doubt that TCM is unscientific, it always improving by many scientists. And it becomes more and more accurate and reliable.Just like Professor Tu says that adopting, exploring, developing and advancing these practices would allow us to discover more novel medicines beneficial to the world healthcare. Let’s take great efforts to improve traditional Chinese medicine and push it forward the worldwide.。

中医和西医的优缺点英语作文英文回答:Traditional Chinese Medicine vs. Western Medicine: Advantages and Disadvantages.Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine are two distinct medical systems with their own unique approaches to diagnosis and treatment. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages, and the best approach to healthcare often involves a combination of both.Advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine:Holistic approach: TCM views the body as a whole, rather than as a collection of separate organs and systems. This holistic approach allows TCM practitioners to address the root cause of an illness, rather than just treating the symptoms.Emphasis on prevention: TCM focuses on preventing illness through lifestyle changes, such as dietary modifications, exercise, and stress management. This emphasis on prevention can help to keep people healthy and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.Natural remedies: TCM practitioners often use natural remedies, such as herbs, acupuncture, and massage, to treat illness. These remedies are typically gentle and have minimal side effects.Cultural significance: TCM is deeply rooted in Chinese culture, and many people find comfort and healing in its traditional practices.Disadvantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine:Lack of scientific evidence: Some TCM treatments lack scientific evidence to support their effectiveness. This can make it difficult to determine which treatments are truly effective and which are not.Potential for interactions with Western medications: Some TCM herbs can interact with Western medications, which can lead to serious health problems. It is important to inform your doctor if you are taking any TCM remedies.Limited availability: TCM practitioners are not as widely available as Western doctors, especially in Western countries. This can make it difficult to access TCM care.Advantages of Western Medicine:Scientific basis: Western medicine is based onscientific research and evidence-based practices. This ensures that treatments are effective and safe.Advanced technology: Western medicine has access to advanced technology, such as MRI machines, CT scanners, and surgical robots. This technology allows doctors to diagnose and treat diseases with greater precision and accuracy.Emergency care: Western medicine is well-equipped to handle emergency situations, such as heart attacks, strokes, and accidents. This can save lives and prevent serious complications.Wide availability: Western doctors are widelyavailable in most countries, making it easy to access care.Disadvantages of Western Medicine:Fragmentation: Western medicine often focuses on treating specific symptoms or diseases, rather than the whole person. This fragmentation can lead to fragmented care and a lack of coordination between different healthcare providers.Expensive: Western medicine can be expensive, especially for complex or chronic conditions. This can make it difficult for some people to afford the care they need.Side effects: Western medications can have side effects, which can range from mild to severe. It is important to discuss the potential side effects of any medication with your doctor before taking it.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine offer different approaches to healthcare with their own advantages and disadvantages. The best approach to healthcare often involves a combination of both systems. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each system, you can make informed decisions about your healthcare and choose the best approach for your individual needs.中文回答:中医和西医的优缺点。

The queen‟s body
Zoe

The queen‟s body was important for her to govern the country. Elizabeth‟s body
and people‟s views of her body affect her ability to govern the country.
Elizabethhided the ugly truth about her body so that she will win more respect. Many
people believed that beauty will amplify female power. So Elizabeth spent much time
on her face. She used many cosmetics to hide her age. But those cosmetics are
poisonous which will cause many diseases. Such as including lack of co-ordination,
sensory impairment, memory loss, irritability, slurred speech and depression.
Elizabeth was known as“The Virgin Queen”. But was she really a virgin? Many
people was curious of it, Elizabeth‟s relationship with men was very complicated.
Elizabeth‟s relationship with Robert Dudleygot most tongues wagging. Then her own
behaviorswill break her image in people‟s mind. But those people‟s thought will not
threat the queen‟s authority. When she was young, she never refused the pursuit of
others but her also not agree it. She took their marriage as a bargaining chip,
balancing the power for the United Kingdom to maximize the interests of the country.
On the other hand, far from being the Virgin Queen, for some hostile observers
Elizabeth was the „whore‟ of Europe. The courts of Europe were abuzz with gossip as
to the queen of England‟s behaviour. From the very earliest months of her reign,
rumours spread of Elizabeth‟s relationship with Robert Dudley, her “sweet Robin”
whom she had known since childhood.
Elizabethhad an unhealthy body which has many diseases.Because of her love of
sweet things she often suffered from toothache.Elizabeth also suffered from
amenorrhoea, irregular menstruation. Any sign of weakness in the queen‟s
bodythreatened the stability of country. Therefore,Elizabeth and her councillors
always spared no effort to emphasize on her health. In the meanwhile, she will
participate in many activities to show herself very healthy. For example, she would
dance with ambassadors or go on annual summer progresses. Even if she did a lot of
things to hide her unhealthy, some foreign countries also know her health problem.
There are rumors that Elizabeth was physically incapable of having sex. Yet the
security of the Protestant state rested upon Elizabeth‟s ability to produce heirs. So the
queen‟s principal secretary insisted that she remained healthy and fertile.
Elizabeth also has a fragile mind. The tough verbal attack will lay a troubled
woman prone to insomnia, and scared of the dark. On the contrary, she is strong in
front of people. She also said: “I know I have the body but of a weak and feeble
woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king.”Elizabeth was in a bad mood,
after Robert Dudley died. She had lost her greatest love, the man whom she had
grown up with, had become infatuated with and adored. Then she had sleepless nights
and vivid nightmares.
As the time went by, she became more and more old. So she used jewels to divert
attention from her decaying body. There were signs that her memory was fading. Even
if, Elizabeth still struggled to maintain the dignity of her royal office.Yet the signs of
the queen‟s decrepitude were hard to ignore. Then she was very worried about her
body.In 1603 Elizabeth, then almost 70, died unmarried and celebrated as England‟s
great „Virgin Queen‟.
Elizabeth‟s body play an important role in her reign. She used her beauty to win
more authority to help her govern the country. Her health will affect her place in
people‟s mind. Therefore, she needed to pretend that she has a healthy body. Her
marriage can also help her to govern the country. This is the reason why she doesn‟t
get married. Because all these efforts, finally Elizabeth ruled England for so long.
