This paragraph shows the process about the whole life of salmon. It shows how eggs of these kind of fish grow up to the adult and how their habitats change.

The flowchart illustates that the salmon, a species of large fish, expriences four life stages ranging from salmon eggs to adult salmon.

First, when the adult fish lay eggs in the upper river, which means water there flow slowly, these salmon eggs will stay in the small stones for about 5 to 6 months. After that, these fry whose body length is from 3 to 8cm come out and swim in lower river in which the water flow faster than that in upper river. They will live there for nearly 4 years. Then these small creatures grow up to smolt, body length ranges from 12 to 15cm, who have the ability to live in the open sea. After moving to the sea for one year later, these fish finally old enough like their parents and big enough that their length is ranging from 70 to 76cm.

At this time, they will lay eggs like their parents and life of this specie circulate over and over again.

Salmon begin life as eggs on a riverbed, hidden among reeds in the slow-moving upper reaches of a river. After five to six months the eggs hatch into fry. For around the next four years. These baby salmon will live in a lower, fast-flowing water of their river,. During this time, they measure between three and eight centimetres in length.

By the time salmon reach 12 to 15 cm, these are termed smolt, and at this time they migrate futher down their river into the open sea.

In summary, the salmon pass through three distict physical stages as it grows to maturity.Each of these stages takes place in a very different aquatic location. It is noteworthy that the first two stages of this fish’s life occur in a freash water while the third stage is lived in saltwater.

The cocoons are the raw material for the production of silk cloth. Once selected, they are boiled and the threads can seperated from the unwinding process. Each thread is between 300 and 900 metres long, whihc means they can be twisted together, dyed and used to produce cloth in the weaving stage.
