Zooming up the information superhighway

Jack:Nowadays,information superhighway is nothing new to our life.All

of us are affected and all of us we depend upon the technology as a basic

information resource.So what are the advantages of information

superhighway do you think?

Pet:Information superhighway really bring us convenient.For

instant,nowadays,if we want to buy something,we don’t have to go

outsight or go to supermarket,instead,we can buy a lot of things including

clothes,fruit,and so on. on the internet!

W:Yeah.Besides that,it is easy to get in touch with our family and our

friend.We can use telephone and computer to seek information what we

need.We lead a convenient and colorful life that could not be imagined.

Jack:Em,it is true.Well,but each cion has two sides.The information

superhighway gives us with benefit at the same time also bring

harm.So,What do you think are the negative effects of it?

Pet:As far as I know,our school has many boys like playing computer

games very much,so they spend much time on computer games that they

neglect their studies.

Jack:How about you ,W?

W:Boys like playing computer games,and girls like watching movie on

the internet.For example,my roommate use computer watch movie all the

day.They are really addicted in it. Jack:Oh,this behavior is really too bad.And now,would you please give

some suggestion to those net addicts?

Pet:I think they should find a good hobby,like playing sport,reading

book,and go sightseeing if they are free.I think these things are more

interesting then sitting in front of a computer all day!

Jack:Sounds good!and W,what are your advices?

W:Spending more time on studies and making a plan every day, do things

as planned.In addition to,we should let them realized that the computer is

not the whole of life.

Jack:Yeah,both of your suggestions are great!Information superhighway

bring us advantages,but we also need to know that we can’t be the slave

of the computer,we should not become couch potato.We should spend

time in doing something useful!
