Globalization

Globalization is one of numerous international phenomena,

which has become common and already attracted broad

attention in the world in recent years. Globalization makes the

whole world a small village and offers extensive opportunities

for every country in the world to develop their economy,

improve their regime, enrich their culture, update their

technology and so on. From my point of view, globalization is

both a challenge and an opportunity for developing countries.

Globalization is a two-edged sword: it can bring both benefit

and harm. On the one hand, it is helpful for many developing

countries access to the advanced technology and the

management experience among the world. In today’s high

technology and new industrialization, the importance of science

and technology has increased, which may speed up the

development of national economy in some degree. In addition,

accessed to effective management experience also allowed the

developing countries step into the road of standardized

management gradually. And then globalization of trade offers

more job opportunities and has a major effect on wages and

income distribution, which is the reason why developing

country can't refuse the globalization. On the other hand, globalization strengthens the world

economic imbalances, makes the wealth gaps wider. As the

developed countries are always the owner of capital and

advanced technology, they have obvious advantages in

competition. What’s more, in order to protect ecological

environment of their own, developed countries tend to send a lot

of seriously polluting industry to other countries, which not only

consumes foreign resources, but also pollutes the environment

of other developing countries.

Generally speaking, the advantages that brought by the

globalization outweigh the disadvantages. And the developed

countries should try not to sacrifice the ecological environment

in developing countries while upholding their own interests, but

at the same time, developing countries should seize the

opportunity to greater challenges. Anyhow, definitely,

globalization is an irreversible trend with the development of

human society. What we should do is to take advantages of

globalization and to be on guard against the disadvantages.
