本模块以介绍中国的春节为主，引入了中国的传统民俗，对话与阅读文章都围绕传统民俗展开。

春节是每个中学生都十分熟悉的中国传统节日，因此，这一话题与学生的生活息息相关，有利于各项活动的展开。

本课为第十模块的第一单元，围绕“Spring Festival”这一话题，主要学习与春节准备活动有关的习俗。

通过本课时的学习，学生能够听懂用现在进行时表达的春节前的准备活动，能够使用现在进行时询问和回答正在发生的节日庆祝活动。

二．教学目的：（一）语言知识目标：1. 词汇：能正确理解并使用下列单词和词组动词：clean, sweep, cook, speak, happen, ready, join, hurry名词：lantern, dragon, dance, floor, meal festival形容词: beautiful副词：quite, away短语：get ready for, at the moment, at work, put away, hurry up2. 语音：能识别并正确朗读/l/ /w/ /r/ /j/，以及含有这些音素的单词。
