Way的用法及短语
一、way的用法
1. way作名词，表示“路，路线”，多指行走或步行的路线：
The police are blocking the way to the station.
警察封锁了通往车站的路。
2. way还可以表示“方式，方法”，常用in a way,
in no way, in some way等短语：
I can help you in some way.
我能以某种方式来帮助你。
3. way的另一个意思是“程度，程度上”，有时也可以用在句中：
He was disappointed with her in a way.
从某种程度上说，他对她感到失望。
4. way还可以用作副词，表示“非常”，特别指“极度，非常地”：
She is way too careful.
她太过小心了。
5. way还可以表示“地方，位置”，常用于a long
way, a short way等短语： We have come a long way since then.

二、way的短语
1. all the way表示“一直，全程”：
We went all the way to Beijing by train. 我们坐火车一路去北京。
2. by the way表示“顺便说一句”：
By the way, don't forget to call your mother.
顺便说一句，别忘了给你妈妈打电话。
3. go out of one's way表示“特地，不计代价”：
He always goes out of his way to help others.
他总是不计代价地帮助别人。
4. lead the way表示“引路，带路”：
She led the way to the top of the hill.
她带路爬到了山顶。
5. on the way表示“在路上”：
We saw a lot of interesting places on the way.
我们在路上看到了许多有趣的地方。
6. stand in one's way表示“妨碍某人，阻挠某人”：
Nothing can stand in my way.
没有什么能阻挡我的。
7. take one's own way表示“采取自己的方式，以自己的方式行事”：
He took his own way and achieved success.

speaking it.
