二、教材分析:本课是译林版牛津小学英语五年级上册第八单元第二课时,主要通过对本单元新授词语和句型的归纳,帮助学生理解并初步掌握相关语法知识,提升学生的语言综合运用能力。本课时的教学内容是Grammar time,,cartoon time两个部分,其中Grammar time 是语法教学,主要帮助学生学习first, next, then和finally的用法,并附带一个操作活动,对于cartoon time让学生整体感知下对话,理解Why is Mr Turkey sad?一起读一读,演一演,说一说。

三、教学目标:

1.知识目标

掌握Grammar time &cartoon time板块的内容,并能进行初步的运用。

2. 技能目标

(1) 能用First/Next/Then/Finally,…一系列表示先后顺序的副词结构。

(2) 能对cartoon time读一读,演一演,说一说。

3. 情感目标

(1) 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,并养成良好的语法学习习惯

(2) 联系生活实际,培养学生的动手,用英语做事解决问题的能力

四、教学重、难点:

(1) 能用First/Next/Then/Finally,…一系列表示先后顺序的副词结构。

(2) 能对cartoon time读一读,演一演,说一说。

六、教学过程:

Step1: Warming-up

1. Enjoy a song 第 2 页 T: Boys and girls, this song is about …?

Ss: Christmas.

2. Brain storm

T: What do you know about Christmas?

Step2: Review story time

Review Mike’s Christmas.

T: You know many things about Christmas. At Christmas ,people are

happy and busy. Look at these pictures, who are happy and busy too?

Ss: Mike and his family

T: Yes. Can you say something about Mike’s Christmas?

(Ss work in groups.)

Step 3: Presentation and practice

1. Grammar time.

Helen’s Christmas(Listen and number)

T: Mike has a lot of fun at Christmas. So does Helen. What does she do?

Let’s listen and number.

Tim’s fun at Christmas

a. (播放Tim没有条理的话)

T: This is Mike’s Christmas. Tim wants to tell us about his Christmas.

Listen to him.

(听完)

T:How does he say?Do you think he speaks well? What’s the problem?

Ss:太快,不流利... 第 3 页 T: So how can we help him say better? Why?

T:Well done, if we want to speak well, we can use ‘First, next, then and

finally’.

2. Cartoon time.

a.Watch the pictures

T: People are always excited and happy at Christmas. How about our

animal friends? Look at the picture. What do you know from the picture?

Ss: They are happy?

T: How about Mr Turkey?

Ss: He looks sad.

b. read and find the answer

T:Mr Turkey is sad. What’s wrong with him?

教学反思:本节课的主题是圣诞节,整个教学过程根据三个板块的具体内容,以Mike,Helen,Tim,Animal friends的圣诞节为主线,形成一个完整的语境。在富有情趣的教学中,穿插听、说、读、写能力的训练,提升孩子综合语言能力。帮助学生梳理已有知识,并形成新的语法结构,然后引导学生在初步运用中理解语法含义,最后再创设新的情境灵活运用语法结构。在整个教学活动中联系学生生活实际,引导学生运用所学语法知识,真正体现运用语言做事的交际功能。

在整个教学过程中,还需要更加放手让学生来学习,真正做到以学生为主体。另外对于学生的阅读和表演还需要加强指导。
