Ideas are developed and supported, though some could be more clearly focused on the social role of serial dramas. Nevertheless, the approach is germane to the issue under discussion and the conclusions drawn are clear and relevant. The answer flows well and the progression of the argument is logical throughout. There are lapses in paragraph development and occasional awkwardness in referencing that limit the rating. Cohesion is otherwise handled well. The candidate uses a wide range of vocabulary and skilfully incorporates less common words and phrases. There are occasional errors in word choice and spelling. Overall, grammar is well-controlled and a range of sentence types is used with confidence. Errors in articles, agreement and verb phrases are more than occasional and punctuation is faulty at times.。
雅思7分作文1.The Internet has dramatically altered our lives over the past few decades. Although some of these changes have been negative, the overall effect of this technology has been positive. What are your opinions onthis? The Internet has brought significant changes to our lives in recent years. Yet, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect of this technology has been positive or negative. While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of the Internet far outweigh its drawbacks. These benefits are twofold.First of all, it is an indisputable fact that the Internet has revolutionized the way we communicate. Despite therisk of social isolation—a problem occasionally seen in people who spend too much time at their computer terminal rather than relating to people in the real world--- most of us have benefited greatly from e-mail and internet chat programs like MSN Messenger. These incredibly useful and powerful tools of communication facilitate both contact with loved ones in faraway places and global trade.Equally importantly, though, the Internet has placed the entire world (and all of the information in it) at our fingertips. In earlier times, conducting research entailed long hours searching library shelves. Now, however, the same information can be accessed at the click of a button. Admittedly, not all of the information available on the Internet is reliable or helpful---there is a vast amount of material online that some would consider offensive or dangerous, ranging from pornography to instructions on how to make bombs. Nonetheless, I would contend thatthis free flow of information has generally been a very positive development.By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that the Internet has had a positive impact on modernlife because of its influence on communication and the flow of information.2.Fast food is now universally available in most countries and is becoming increasingly popular. Some feel thatthis is a positive trend, while others do not. What are your opinions on this? The past 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in the availability of fast food. Some laud its convenience and relatively low cost; however, in this essay I intend to argue that this kind of food is detrimental both to the individuals that consume it and to society at large. There are two primary reasons for this.First of that, it is an undeniable fact that consuming fast food to excess results in serious health problems. Foodssuch as fried chicken, hamburgers and chips---which are incredibly high in fat and salt---are responsible for such ailments as high blood pressure, obesity and heart disease. Moreover, although I certainly agree that fast food isboth affordable and convenient, the cost and inconvenience of treating the illnesses it causes in later life are significant. In order words, while fast food is beneficial in the short term, its long-term effects are generally negative.Further and even more importantly, though, some fast food chains deliberately attempt to attract children in order to shape their future eating habits. One particularly good example of this is the character Ronald McDonald---the bright clothes and smile of the McDonald clown are a beacon to children. Having grown up eating in McDonald restaurants, people are likely to continue eating there throughout their adult lives. It is also interesting to note that McDonald provides playgrounds and frequently holds children’s birthday parties in order to attract young children and their parents.By way of conclusion, I believe that fast food will continue to become more popular as the pace of life increases. Given the health risks associated with this trend, I believe that public education campaigns warning people aboutthe dangers of fast food would be warranted.3.International tourism is now more common than ever before. Some feel that this is a position trend, while others do not. What are your opinions on this? The past 50 years have seen a considerable increase in global tourism. Despite the undeniable economic prosperity it has brought to many host countries, I would argue that the overall impact of international holidaymaking has in fact been negative. Two of the primary drawbacks associated with this trend are as follows.First of all, global tourism tends to export many negative aspects of western culture. Since it is only the wealthy who can afford to travel abroad, developing countries like Thailand and Indonesia have become the playgrounds of tourists from more affluent ones. In many such nations, this influx of mainly western tourists has brought with it problems such as prostitution as well as alcoholism and drug abuse. Admittedly, international tourism does have the potential to foster greater understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures. However, this is unlikely to occur while it remains such a potent symbol of western cultural domination and moral decadence.Even more disturbing, though, is the environmental degradation that international tourism has caused in many parts of the world. One particularly salient example of this is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia --- the countless boats, divers and snorkelers that have visited the reef over the past few decades have gradually destroyed vast sections of coral. Similarly, world renowned Kuta Beach in Bali has become heavily polluted in recent years. In order to be sustainable, greater regulation of global tourism is required. In conclusion, the challenges presented by the booming international tourist industry are numerous and complex. Although they are by no means insurmountable, it is highly unlikely that they will be resolved in the foreseeable future.4. Nowadays, more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. In order to become integrated into society in their adopted countries, immigrants should abandon their old ways and adapt to local customs and codes of behavior. Do you agree or disagree? These days, it seems that more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. This raises certain questions about the integration of newcomers into society. Although there are valid arguments to the contrary, inthis paper I will argue that it is the responsibility of immigrants to adapt to accepted rules of behavior in their adopted country, both written and unwritten. The reasons for this are twofold.Firstly, it is vitally important that newcomers observe the laws of their adopted country for the sake of social order. Imagine the chaos that would ensure if people refused to drive on the same side of the road. It is, therefore, necessary for all immigrants to ensure that they observe the law in their new country regardless of any differencesto laws in their home country. Two further instances of practices which are permitted in some countries but prohibited in orders are the possession of firearms and gambling.Secondly and more importantly, though, in order to maintain societal cohesion it is essential that newcomers respect the social norms of their adopted country. Of course, having a mixture of different cultures and traditionsgives a country colour and vibrancy; however, I would contend that too much cultural diversity undermines a society by alienating people from each other. It is my belief that similarities unite people, whereas differences havea tendency to divide. A strong society is a homogenous society with shared values and goals.By way of conclusion, I believe that this issue is likely to become even more important in the future as borders between countries become increasingly blurred. It, therefore, demands our further consideration.5. Men and women are difficult in terms of their characteristics and abilities. For this reason, some jobs are better done by men and others by women. Do you agree or disagree? These days, it seems that more women are entering “male occupations” than ever before and vice vers some still hold to the conservative view that certain jobs are better performed by men and others by women, it ismy personal belief that people of either sex are capable of doing any job effectively. The reasons for my positionare as follows.First of all, I believe it is a mistake to base our views on broad generalizations about the characteristics of menand women as such stereotypes are often inaccurate. Although there are certainly traits which are typical of menand others which are typical of women, there are exceptions to every rule. Not all women are physically weak, justas not all men are poor interpersonal communicators; conventional gender roles are not appropriate for everybody. If a man or woman desires to pursue a career which is traditionally reserved for the opposite sex, I believe he/sheshould be provided the opportunity to prove him/herself capable.Secondly, I would contend that the presence of both males and females in a workplace brings a sense ofbalance. Men and women frequently, though by no means always, have different methods of doing things. Ratherthan judging these differences to be weaknesses, I feel that we should view them as opportunities for innovationand the discovery of more effective and efficient work practices. A person’s weaknesses can thus be transformedinto strengths. In summary, I once again reaffirm my position that both male and female employees are an asset to anyindustry and as our stereotypes about men and women are not always appropriate, we must not discourage anyonefrom choosing an occupation simply because of his/her gender.6. Smoking is a major cause of serious illness and death throughout the world today. In theinterest of public health, governments should ban cigarettes and other tobacco products. Do youagree or disagree? There are widely differing views on the issue of whether tobacco should be banned or not. Some people would suggest that it is their right to smoke and that prohibiting cigarettes would be aviolation of their civil liberties; however, I personally believe that tobacco should indeed be madeillegal. There are two principal reasons for this. One point which I believe to be absolutely pivotal is the fact that tobacco is a drug. Themajority of governments around the world take a prohibitionist approach to the problem of substanceI believeabuse. If governments wish to be consistent in pursuing their “war on drugs”, therefore, they must ban tobacco as well. This is particularly heroin and marijuana---have legitimate medical applications, while tobacco has none. However, perhaps the strongest argument in favor of banning cigarettes and other tobaccoproducts is that of public health. It is an irrefutable fact that smoking leads to lung cancer and othersuch potentially fatal diseases. Pro-smoking groups would no doubt argue that each individual hasthe right to determine what goes into his/her own body. Nevertheless, I would suggest that theinterests and rights of society at large must override those of the individual. The medical treatmentthat smokers require is often incredibly costly, and it is frequently governments and society thatcover these costs rather than the individual smoker. Hence, I feel that laws prohibiting smokingwould be entirely justified. In reality, of course, the widespread prohibition of smoking is unlikely in the near future. However, given the seriousness o f the problems that it causes, I believe that this should be theultimate goal.7. Trying to save endangered animal species from extinction is a waste of valuable resources. Do you agree or disagree? The issue of whether we should attempt to save endangered species from extinction or not is certainly a contentious one. Despite the arguments of some people that such animals serve no useful purpose and should be allowed to die out just as many others (including the dinosaurs) have in the past, it is my personal belief that they should in fact be preserved. Two of the principal reasons for this are as follows.Firstly, it is vital that we appreciate the importance of endangered species in maintaining the balance of nature. Ecosystems are delicate arrangements where plants and animals all depend on each other for survival. The disappearance or introduction of any animal species disrupts the balance and negatively impacts upon other plants and animals by breaking the food chain and altering the habitat in which they live. Such imbalances frequently return to haunt us in unexpected ways. Just as rabbits that were introduced to Australia soon after European settlement now compete with native species for food and destroy farmers’ crops, the extinction of a predator can cause plagues by allowing its prey to multiply unchecked. Therefore, since ecological change constitutes a potential risk to us and our environment, it is clearly I our own interests to protect endangered species.Yet, perhaps the strongest argument in favor of preserving endangered species is that all life has intrinsic value; even if endangered species are not useful to us in any practical way they should be preserved nevertheless. Further, given that we humans are responsible for destroying the natural habitat of many endangered animals, we should make every possible effort to save them.In conclusion, I once again restate my view that saving endangered species is worthwhile. Not only do theyhelp to maintain the balance of nature, but they also have value in and of themselves.8. With divorce rates and family breakdowns increasing globally, it is generally accepted that families today are not as close as they used to be. Discuss the causes of this problem and offer some possible solutions to it.Divorce and family breakdown were virtually unheard of just 100 years ago. Now, however, almost half of all marriages fail. This phenomenon is symptomatic of the growing distance between family members in modern society. In this essay, I intend to explore the sources of this problem along with some possible solutions to it.Chief among the causes of this problem is the modern lifestyle. Today’s parents have to work harder than those of previous generations to support their families. Traditionally, one parent assumed the role of breadwinner, while the other---typically the mother----acted as the homemaker. Recently, though, double income families have become the norm. Consequently, an increasing number of children now grow up in a parentless environment. Little wonder, then, that they feel alienated. Another contributing factor is the passive and solitary nature of many modern forms of entertainment. In order to resolve this sense of alienation within families, I believe we must first address its root causes. Perhaps the most effective method of doing this would be for governments to offer financial incentives to parentswho choose to remain at home and take care of their families. Admittedly, such incentives would probably not full compensate couples for lost income; however, they would at least soften the hardship of living on a single incomeand provide an alternative for parents who would rather remain at home but are unable to do so because of financial constraints. One further measure would be to promote more interactive leisure activities in the community through public education campaigns. In conclusion, I believe that this is clearly a problem of such complexity that to no solution is likely in theshort term. However, I believe that the measures outlined above would constitute a good first step.。
雅思写作7分范文:跳槽的利与弊Some people prefer to stay in the same job for the same company, but othersprefer to change jobs frequently. You should use specific reasons to compare theadvantages and disadvantages of both sidesNowadays very few people intend to go in for a life-time career. Stillthere are some advantages to doing so.Merits of always taking a position can be examined by three aspects.(topicsentences) First, if you stick at taking a post, all angles of the job will haveappeared; after some time, you will definitely have a good command of it.Consequently you may become a veteran of the field and earn respect or prestigefrom others. Second, you can establish an extensive social connections relatingto the field, helping you tear down most of the barriers standing in the way ofyour working endeavor. Finally, mistakes of the routine taskswould be minimizedbecause you have learned the lessons. On the other hand, I would like to illustrate the advantages ofexperiencing different jobs. (topic sentence) Initially, we look at the issue ofbribery. Many high-level staff are inclined to accept bribes via power in hand. However, if he knows that someone else will soon take his place, such acts canbe avoided. We then look at work motivation. If one w orks for the same companyfor a long time without promotion, he may get sick and tired of doing the samedaily routine. Nonetheless, a manager should have qualities of a sense ofteamwork and the capability of coordination. Therefore, to try various positionscan help you gain ground to be promoted. In summary, staying in the same post can cultivate one to cut out for thejob but involve one in a boring career while changing jobsfrequently can beboth advantageous by keeping bribery away and providing on e with moreopportunities of promotion and disadvantageous by making mistakes occasionally. In my opinion, people should seek a decent and good-paid job and pay littleattention to changing it.。

雅思7分作文模板英文回答:In my opinion, achieving a band 7 in the IELTS writing test requires a combination of strong language skills, effective organization, and a clear understanding of the task. Firstly, it is essential to have a wide range of vocabulary and the ability to use it accurately. This means using advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions to demonstrate a high level of language proficiency. For example, instead of using basic words like "good" or "bad,"I would aim to use more sophisticated words like "excellent" or "dreadful" to convey my ideas more effectively.Secondly, organization plays a crucial role in achieving a high band score. This includes structuring my essay in a clear and logical way, with a well-developed introduction, body, and conclusion. Additionally, I would ensure that my ideas are linked cohesively throughout theessay, using connectives and transition words to guide the reader through my arguments. For instance, I would use phrases like "on the other hand" or "furthermore" toconnect different points and create a smooth flow of ideas.Furthermore, understanding the task and addressing it appropriately is vital for success in the writing test. This means carefully analyzing the question and ensuringthat I fully answer all parts of it. For example, if thetask requires me to discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of a certain issue, I would make sure to present balanced arguments for each side and providerelevant examples to support my points.中文回答:在我看来,要在雅思写作考试中获得7分,需要具备强大的语言能力、有效的组织能力以及清晰的任务理解能力。

这样好的东西,可惜不是我整理的,是一个叫landfish姑娘收集的,厉害!v105some people claim that the disadvantages of the car are more than the advantages,do you agree or disagree?范文1the birth of cars have made an enormous change to our life.in the past,we travel from one place to another only by foot, nowaday, cars can do it.its goes withour saying that the invention of cars bring great benefit to all of us.but as proverb goes:no garden without weeds.car is not exception.owing a car has a lot of advantages.for one thing, car provide us the most convient way of transportation.we can get around freely without spenting a lot of time.emotionally,i always found driving is so exciting.for another, its the comfortable to drive a car.In winter.drivers always can stay warm and dry even in rainy whether,in addition, drivers are usually safe in their cars when they are out at night.Cars bring the human merits, their side-effects graudually come to the surface.firstly,to run a car need a lot of oil, which is getting less and less.the increasing number of cars contribute the lacking of energy.secondlly,as more and more cars are used, the traffic ecpecially in big cities is getting heaver and heavier, which lead to the serious social problem--traffic jam.in addition, the inceasing numbers of cars, which excaust sent a huge quantities of carbon monoxide into atmosphere.it make the air of cities unbreathabe,it strip people contact with frensh air.therefore, the new energy should be explored to replace the oil so that our envionmental pollution can be avioded.and the strick law should be issued to keep the numbers of cars under control.thus, our heavier traffic can be solluted!范文2Private cars vs Public trafficAs traffic problems become more and more serious in many cities of developed and developing countries, their governments have to try hard and loads of money and energy have been spent to deal with them.Firstly,it is not efficient for the commuters to use their private cars to and back from their workplaces.Occasionally we can see they have to sit on the wheels wasting time and fuel in a heavy traffic jam.At the same time, through burning the fossil fuels, green house gas CO2,CO1,acid rain gas SO2,fumes and dusts are being released into the atmosphere, all of which heavily overload the environment.Thirdly, with the increase of private cars, the road traffic accidents are also rise dramatically. For example,in a city with5000cars,there will be at least250accidents happening everyday, which also burden the public healthy services. On the contrary, expected public traffic may be an ideal solution to these problems. For example city buses and railways are widely used or being constructed by many cities.People can take buses easily, which can be found every10minutes or less in the peak time.Actually,Nottingham Transport Company is building its own light railway in the city, which is announced by the speak man of the company,“It will be completed in the next year, the tickets will be very competitive and at the same time the travel will be very safe and comfortable.”On the other hand, public traffic had its own ually it cannot provide door-to-door service. It is inconvenient to go shopping by public vehicles.Sometimes you must wait a long time for the train. And quite a lot of people prefer to enjoy driving. In conclusion, developing the public traffic is a useful approach to deal with these difficulties. One possible way,if not the best,is to taxi private cars heavily and use these revenues to provide citizens cheaper public traffic services.雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788范文3With the development of science and technology, the cars have already become the important component in our daily life gradually.Cars make our life convenient and swift. However, too many cars have caused very serious social problems. Some people claim that the disadvantages of car are more than the advantages.I doubt whether the argument can bear much analysis.Since one century[ago],the auto industry has[been]developed at full speed worldwide, and has brought the enormous progresses to our life. For example, the car is the most convenient tool of transportation. We can[be]on and off duty by car every day,we can go to travel by car on the vacation,we can utilize the cars to deal with some emergency too.The car[is]playing an important role in our daily life. They make our rhythm of life faster and faster, make our business become more and more efficient. On the other hand, the development of the automobile has brought a lot of infant industry to people,Give people countless employment opportunities too.Such as,manufacturing industry, repairing industry and maintaining industry. We are enjoying the convenience that the cars bring to us;at the same time we can utilize the auto industry to support ourselves. However,we can not ignore that too many cars cause enormous social problems, for example, traffic jam,air pollution, traffic accident,to which we have to find a solution. In a word, the cars have brought enormous change to our life;the advantages are far more than the disadvantages. We should recognize the merit of the cars, and do our best to solve the problems. If so,our life will be brighter.Version00106范文1Nowhere in the world has the issue of tobacco been so much debated as inour society.Nowadays, tobacco is more harmful than drug to people’shealth, therefore many people think that smoking is legal that is a direct andprimary reason to induce this kind of problem. The above point is certainlytrue;this essay will outline three reasons. The main reason is that tobacco is a silent killer to smokers.Tobacco isknown to be the probable cause of some25different diseases, and for some, such as lung cancer, bronchitis and emphysema,it is the main cause.According to a WHO report four million people die yearly from tobacco-related diseases, that is one death every eight seconds.Tobacco is significantlybecoming a greater cause of death and disability than any other single cause.Another reason is that more and more young people are under18years old who smoke cigarette have been blinded by the deceit of tobacconists.Tobacco among adolescents remains stubbornly persistent.Smoking among adolescents rose in the1990s in several developed countries, such as China,Vietnam and Thailand. While new markets are being opened by the tobacco industry actions, old markets have not been closed.Tobacco is a global threat.Last but not the least reason is the increase in cigarette smuggling.Becauseof tobacco smuggling, the legal retailing and distribution systems are badlyaffected, and faced with increased lawlessness and heavy tax losses. This behavior severely affects the economy. In conclusion, the tobacco should be considered illegal.Perhaps a pack ofcigarettes is less harmful than another drug, but tobacco is actually thebiggest killer of all the drugs.=================================================范文2Advertisements of tobacco and those of“smoking is harmful”are often seentogether. But there has been an on-going argument about whether or not雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788tobacco should be forbidden and made illegal.I have always believed thatsmoking should be illegal for the following reasons.First, smoking does great harm to human health and causes many diseases. It is reported that more than70%of lung cancer sufferers are smokers, andthe average life-span of smokers is seven years less than that of non-smokers.Moreover,it hurts not only smokers, but also the ones around thesmokers. Many researchers claim that breathing“second-hand smoke”maybe even more harmful than smoking.Second, many social problems and disasters can be attributed to smoking. For instance, many wives cannot bear their husbands’smoking all the time, which causes many quarrels,or even divorces.Furthermore, the biggest firedisaster in China, the Daxinganling fire disaster, was caused by a burningcigarette end,and the cost of the resulting loss was unimaginable.Last, smoking tobaccos is a main source of air pollution.A magazine said thatfor every cigarette smoked each day,a whole tree is needed to clean the air.In other words, smoking one less cigar every day equals planting a tree.Itis a brilliant contribution to the earth we are living on.In a word, all the above demonstrate that smoking harms yourselves as wellas your neighbors, pollutes the air we ourselves are breathing, and evenagitates the social peace. So,in my opinion, tobacco should be strictlyforbidden, and smoking should be made illegal.范文3there has long been controversy over the legality and apparent acceptance of tobacco in society.some hold that cigarettes and other tobacco containing products should be banned, that is,treated as narcotics.personally,i agree with this point of view for the following reasons:although cigarettes do not offer as intense an effect as drugs like heroin and cocaine, they rank higher in the level of dependence it creates in the user.thousands of smokers try to rid themselves of cigarettes but cannot, because of the physiological dependence they developed, chiefly imputable to its chemical nicotine.this explains why smokers continue their habit despite the numerous health warnings.furthermore, medical science has now proved beyond a doubt that smoking kills.with all the other causes of preventable deaths such as alcohol, illegal drugs, aids, suicide, road accidents, fire, and guns, cigarettes still account for more preventable deaths than all of those combined.more disturbingly, whilst the use of heroin is dangerous solely to the users, the use of tobacco endangers those who are in their vicinity as well.this phenomenon, known as passive smoking, nulls the counter-argument that putting one's own health at risk through smoking should be up to one's own individual choice.reports have shown that the amount of second-hand smoke inhaled by a typical nonsmoker is equivalent to one cigarette smoked per day,and what is more, passive smoking can increase a nonsmoker's chance of getting cancer by ten to thirty two per cent.there are those who will say that the black market created by outlawing tobacco will produce deadlier cigarettes because the product standards of the bootleggers are not as high.however,we should all bear in mind that legal cigarettes cause roughly four hundred thousand deaths a year.it is hard to imagine the limited distribution provided by the criminal underworld could compete with this tragic figure.to sum up,the harm visited upon our society by tobacco usage is substantial.there will be no solution other than to control tobacco much in the same way that the government now controls drugs which could allow people to remain attentive to the seriousness of the effects of these substances, and hopefully to prohibit their usage.范文4Apparently,it would seem that tobacco is totally different substance from drugs, and it can be used freedom by public. In fact, however, our authority should make tobacco illegal as well as drugs, and using of tobacco should be controlled strictly.雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788Tobacco only can be used for research and medical purpose. As far as I am concerned,as a kind of dope, tobacco has been widely used to help patients alleviate their pain in surgery. At the same time, ordinary people should not be allowed to access it legally for two main reasons.Among countless factors which influence my inclination, there is a most conspicuous one:it is harmful that smokers addict to tobacco. Many decades ago, scientists have already found that there is a definite link between smoking and bronchial troubles, cardiac disease and lung cancer.More seriously,it not only has negative influence for smokers, but others living or working in same surrounding, even the next generation of a smoking pregnant women may be harmed by so-called“second hand smoking”.Research shows that sometimes“second hand smoking”is more dangerous than smoking directly, because,at least smokers can get the protection from filter tips to some extent. Thus, compared to the hazard of drugs, tobacco can involve more other innocent people and harm their health unknowingly. The second aspect relates to the problem that our natural resources and money are wasted senselessly during the course of planting, transporting and manufacturing tobacco. In light of a statistics,China consumes nearly1,000tons of wood fibers to produce cigarettes annually.Besides, the investment absorbed by tobacco manufacturers every year,is enough to solve all financial troubles that higher education have to face.Obviously,if tobacco is banned by our governments,it means that considerable money will be saved. In summary, judging from all the evidence offered,we may safely arrive at the conclusion that tobacco should be forbidden as well as drugs except for a few special purposes, such as research and medicine.补充With the development of society, our life and working pressure are greater and greater. In this way,a lot of people have become smokers.Tobacco,as a kind of drugs, prevails in the society. Some people hold the opinion that tobacco should be given freedom be use,but others,in contrast, deem it should be made illegal as the same way as other drugs and that is also my point.Medical science proves that smoking can cause the heart diseases, lung cancer, and the immune system diseases. These diseases are all mankind's healthy enemies. The statistics have showed that people who die of the lung cancer,over90%are smokers. In these smokers,85%are chain of society, our life and working pressure are[getting]greater and greater. In this way,a lot of people have become smokers.Tobacco,as a kind of drugs, prevails in the society. Some people hold the opinion that tobacco should be given freedom[to]be[used, but others,in contrast, deem[that]it should be made[as]illegal as the same way as other drugs and that is also my point.Medical science proves that it should be made illegal as the same way as other drugs. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What’s your opinion?A:Tobacco should be made illegal,I agree with this idea personally.I hope most drugs can be made illegal, because,as far as I know, they are bad to our health. However, currently most countries still keep it free to use tobacco, and this situation seems to be very hard to change in a short time. From my own experience, using tobacco is not a good thing, especially using is for a long time.It will lead to many kinds of diseases, more importantly, many of them are fatale. One of my friends died from using too much tobacco, and it is believed there are many more people like this. The other thing that I am concerned of is,if a country doesn’t make using tobacco illegal, many young people will have a chance to use it,i.e.students.It is very dangerous, because if someone gets addicted to this when he is very young,he will then almost surely have a big health problem when he is old.I am happy to see that, although it is free to use tobacco in many countries, most of those countries still somehow try not to encourage people using it.For example, tobacco advertisement is banned in many countries, and for many countries, smoking is banned in public places.Overall, most countries are trying to stop the use of tobacco, though it will take sometime. In my opinion,it is essential to limit the use of tobacco, and I hope everyone doesn’t use.Version00108Some people said the government shouldn't put money on building theatersand sports stadiums;they should spend more money on medical care andeducation.Agree or not agree?=================================================范文1Nowadays,the gap between the city and the countryside becomes more and more overt, which arouses colossal concerns. To understand the solution, let’s take a closer look at the causes of the gap at first. The main reason of the gap is the unequal investment between city and rural area.China is a typical example. While more and more money is being invested to the coastal areas and big cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai, the lack of investment barriers greatly the society development of rural area and western regionsThe low education level partly sharps the gap. There is no doubt that the prime force of productivity is education. However, because of poverty, thousands of people go to work without graduating from primary school. The poorer, the few children go to school. This bad cycle finally leads to the dream of rich becoming a dream that is hard to realize. Moreover, the rural area is short of people with high quality.A survey proved that most of university students, whether they come from city or countryside, choose big cities instead of poor areas to work. The rural area can neither adept talent man nor attract talent man.No wonder the gap is increasing largely.Hence,The government ought to knock itself out to decrease the gap as soon as possible.First, balance the investment between city and rural area.In addition, the education level should be improved, especially pay attention on raising high quality people.Besides, let more people realize the latent capacity of rural area in order to attract talent and investment. The set up of CCTV channel12-western region channel is a good example.Only when the ways mentioned above are realized step by step, can the gap between the cities and the countryside be bridged.范文2Nowadays,many people argue against the government putting money onbuilding theaters and sports stadiums. They have claimed that medical careand education would benefit the citizens and the country much more. However,I believe it is worth building more theaters and arenas.雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788First,stadiums and arenas provide ideal places for people to have physicalexercises and entertainment. After a whole week’s hardworking, people canenjoy a wonderful football game in the weekend, and refresh themselveswith a good relaxation there. Moreover, the physical exercises are good forpeople’s health, which will ease the pressure of medical care.Second, theaters and museums can be used as base areas of culture and history education. The British Museum, which is the largest one in the world, provides visitors with knowledge about the world culture and the arts.Thevisitors to the museum are all overwhelmed by the magnificence of thecultural and historical displays featuring mankind’s achievements. In addition, the performances shown in the theaters will also greatly enrich the lives of citizens.People can enjoy ballet, symphony, and Peking Opera in a theater, which contain the soul of Chinese and western cultures.Third, running theaters and stadiums can earn much money. And this amountof money can do great contribution in other fields, including medical care, and education. After winning the Olympic2008,Beijing made a plan to spend160billion RMB building an Olympic Village. This will surely attract manysports fans to China, which would be much rewarded, not only in economybut the whole society. You can tell form my commentary above, since building theaters and stadiumsbenefit not only individuals but also the state,it is very worthy of theseexpenses. And the government should speed up the pace of the constructions.范文3An argument often heard these days is that whether or not the government should put money on building theaters and stadiums. Some believe that instead of spending money on this area,Medical care and education, both of which are basic developing factors of one country should be spent more money on.After weighting the pros and cons,I disagree with this opinion.Firstly, theaters and stadiums are best choice for people relaxing. Most of workers, especially white collar who often feel nervous after one day’s hard work, need to relax both mentally and pared with staying at home,it is much better way to stay in comfortable theater and listen to a wonderful concert. In addition, going to theaters and stadiums affect the same effect as education and medical care.Having more chances to go to theaters can help them mold character. There is no better way to keep healthy than doing proper sports in the daily. In this way,the culture and health will be improved greatly, which plays the same role of education and medical care. Moreover, theaters and stadiums are basis essential facilities to a developed city.Take holding an Olympic games as an example,it is no doubt it will take millions of money to build stadiums. Why the winner country is proud of that.Because this is a confirmation given by whole world.Of course I don’t mean that the more theaters and stadiums, the better society will be,after all, nothing can take the important place of medical care and education. In summary, the key point is to keep both of this two part developing.Only in this way,can all people live better in future.V108Some people said the government shouldn't put money on building theaters and sports stadiums;they should spend more money on medical care and education.Agree or not agree?Recently,a criticism often heard is that the government tends to put too much money on building theaters and sports stadiums. They maintain that medical care and education would benefit the citizens and the country much more. However,I advocate building more theaters and arenas.Numerous circumstances lead to the worth of building theaters and arenas, but here are two main reasons:What strikes me most of all is that theaters and sports stadiums provide ideal places for people to build up a world of relaxation. After five days of hardworking, people can refresh themselves by taking physical exercises and enjoining a football game there.Meanwhile, exercises is to health what water is to fish. The physical exercises can benefit people’s health, which will surely ease the pressure of medical care. Moreover,it provides people a good opportunity to enter into communion with each other, which will benefit people’s mental health.雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788Beyond this,it is also of paramount importance to use theaters and museums as the“social classroom”of opera house shows the concept of modernism and the never properly finished inside provides visitors with a story of its creator Jorn Utzon. In addition, the performances which contain the soul of human globle economy is in recession, stimulation is one of the methods for government to catch the economy’s fall. However,to my opinion, government should spend more money on medical care and education. For men, health and education are the basic elements for development. We often say health is the best wealth.Without health, even if you are a millionaire you will not enjoy your life. The society needs more medical care to ensure people to live happily and create more fortune. This is a physical base for development of society. The spiritual foundation should be obtained from education.Only with more knowledge, can we catch up with the improvement of economy, society and technology. We need healthy people and brilliant minds to change our world into a better one.Theatres and sports stadiums are signs for higher standard of pared with the basic development factors, they are minor.Insufficiency in medical care and education will impose great stress on poor people and produce unstable factors for society. If government invested too much on recreational places,it has to lessen the expenditure on medical care and education since the total amount of distributable money will not be changed.Such action will do little influence on riches, but affect poors greatly. They can’t take out money from their own pockets to see doctors nor pursue higher education.Dissatisfaction for government will arise gradually. Then, how long the government can exist with the society fluctuated?雅思口语外教一对一陪练,免费试听:www.2uedu.cn;淘宝店:2uedu.taobao.cn;Q群:154366788。
雅思七分范文题目,大学生应该选择自己的专业还是听从家长的建议?Nowadays, the issue of whether college students should choose their own majors or follow their parents' advice has aroused wide concern in society. Some people argue that college students should have the freedom to choose their own majors, while others believe that they should listen to their parents' suggestions. In my opinion, college students should have the right to choose their own majors based on their interests and abilities.Firstly, college students are adults and they should have the right to make their own decisions about their future. Choosing a major is a crucial decision that will have a significant impact on their lives. It is important for them to pursue a field of study that they are passionate about and that aligns with their talents and interests. If they are forced to follow their parents' advice and study a major that they are not interested in, they may become unhappy and unfulfilled in their careers.Secondly, college students are the ones who will be responsible for their own future, not their parents. It is important for them to take ownership of their education and career path. By choosing their own majors, they will be more motivated to succeed and will have a greater sense of responsibility for their own academic and professional development. On the other hand, if they simply follow their parents' advice without considering their own interests and abilities, they may end up regretting their decision and feeling unfulfilled in their careers.Furthermore, college students are in a better position to make informed decisions about their majors than their parents. They are the ones who are immersed in the academic environment and have a better understanding of the various fields of study and career opportunities. While parents may have good intentions, they may not have the most up-to-date information about the job market and the demands of different professions. Therefore, it is important for college students to take the time to research and explore their options before making a decision about their majors. In conclusion, college students should have the freedom to choose their own majors based on their interests and abilities. It is important for them to take ownership of their education and career path, and to make informed decisions about their future. By doing so, they will be more likely to find fulfillment and success in their careers. While it is important for them to consider their parents' advice, ultimately the decision should be theirs to make.。
(七分范文)Some people believe that studying at university or college is the best route to a successful career, while others believe that it is better to get a job straight after school.Discuss both views and give your opinion. When they finish school, teenagers face the dilemma that whether to get a job or continue their education. While there are some benefits to getting a job straight after school,I would argue that it is better to go to college or university. The option to start work straight after school is attractive for several reasons. Many young people want to start earning money as soon as possible. In this way, they can become independent, and they will be able to afford their own house or start a family. In terms of their career, young people who decide to find work, rather than continue their studies, may progress more quickly. They will have the chance to gain real experience and learn practical skills related to their chosen profession. This may lead to promotions and a successful career. On the other hand,I believe that it is more beneficial for students to continue their studies. Firstly, academicqualifications are required in many professions. For example,it is impossible to become a doctor, teacher or lawyer without having the relevant degree. As a result, university graduates have access to more and better job opportunities, and they tend to earn higher salaries than those with fewer qualifications. Secondly, the job market is becoming increasingly competitive, and sometimes there are hundreds of applicants for one position in a company. Young people who do not have qualifications from a university or college will not be able to compete. For the reasons mentioned above,it seems to me that students are more likely to be successful in their careers if they continue their studies beyond school level.以上就是这篇雅思写作7分范文的全部内容,字数足够。

雅思写作范文1. 教育类Some people think that examinations have some bad effects on students. Some people say they do a good job in the evaluation of the students’ performance. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.范文In the long history of human education, great changes have taken places in every field of study. However testing a person by examinations is still regardes as the only reliable and feasible method to measure one’s knowledge and ability. From elementary schools to universities, students have to take many examinations. They even regard examinations as an indispensable part of their life. Some people hold that examinations have negative impacts on students. First of all, examinations are unable to evaluate one’s true ability. They ca only test memory or the skill of working rapidly under pressure. Secondly, examinations encourage bad study habits. Students tend to lay emphasis on what will be tested. They are encourages to meorize rather than to think. Finally, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Teachers have to train students in exam techniques instead of teaching their subjects. Many other people, however, believe examinations have some advantages. In the first place, they serve as a driving force to stimulate students to work hard. Laziness is part of human nature. Without examinations, students tend to ignore their studies. Moreover, the results of examinations are just like mirrors for both students and teachers. Students can assess temselves examination. Finally, till now no better methods have been discovered to replace examinations. Other forms of assessment are too time-consuming and therefore are infeasible. In my opinion, examinations have positive effects on teaching. They make students hard-working. They also provide a clear objective standard by which the students can assess themselves and teachers can know what they should do next. Furthermore, at present, no bettermethods are available. Therefore, I am sure examinations will continue to play an essential role in education. Some people say that the government should pay for the health care and education of its citizens, but other people say that it is not the government’s responsibility. What is your opinion?范文There has long been a heated discussion about whether the government should shoulder the responsibilities for its people’s basisc expenses such as health care and education. Some people argue that yes, it is the governments’ unshakeable duty to do so. Others, by contrast, hold the opposite opinion. Personally, I choose to stand on the former side.To commence with, let’s make clear what “the government”means. It is an institution representing its peple’s interest and benefits. A democratic government is, in Jefferson’s words, “ of the people, for the people and by the people”. A pparently, health care and education both fall into the ring of people’s fundamental interest, benefits and rights, thus for sure making a part of the unshakable duties of any government.Furthermore, to guarantee these two benefits is actually crucial to every nation’s stability. ThisIs because they are both long-lasting and are extremely costly. If one has to afford them independently, he or she will be forced to do a lot of savings, and will thus live in anxiety for a lengthy period until the say when bank saving is considered “secure”, which is very likely to be in one’s sisties. Therefore, if without these rudimentary benefits, our society will be running under tremendous pressure and insecurity. How can we expect it to develop smoothly and stably?Admittedly, it is also comprehensible for some people to hold the opposite view. They suppose that too much expenditure on these two fields will slow down a country’s advancement and people will enjoy fewer benefits as a further consequence. True as it seems to be, these people still ignore one issue, that is, the exixtence of the government is to ensure that people live a better life. If some basic investment shrinks, it has undoubtedly to be considered negative regardless of whatever potential benefit it may bring about. All in all, it is the government’s due and inescapable responsibility to bear people’s health care and education expenses, both currently and in the long term. There are social, medical and technical problems associated with the use of mobile phones. What forms do they take? Do you agree that the problems outweigh the benefits of the mobile phone? We live in an information age, an age of communication and commections. Perhaps the best symbol of all this technology is the mobile phone. Almost everyone has one and most people would be lost in their daily routine without it. However, some habe suggested that it causes medical problems and should be limited. But this tiny little tool is just too important to get rid of.The advantages of using mobile phones are immense. For business and commerse they allow companies to stay in touch with clients, employers with employees and so on. Now people can work outside the office and never be out of the information loop. In fact it would be hard to imagine working without one.Furthermore, parents can have peace of mind with their kids by giving them a mobile phone. Now when they are at school or playing with a friend, they are only a phone call away. This is also true for anyone who has an emergency to report or is in danger. Mobiles can literally be a lifesaver. The flip side though is that some people have reported medical issues like heart and brain problems. I am not an expert on these issues but my impression is that if they were proven to be dangerous, governments would not allow them to be sold, or would at least have tougher safety standards. In a nutshell, mobile phones are just too essential to our daily lies. If in the future it is shown that they cause damage to one’s health, then I am confident that laws will be passed requiring them to be safe. But for now, the pros clearly outweigh the cons.Traffic jam is a problem in most cities all round the world at present. What causes the problem? Make some recommendations.Transporting has been developing rapidly in recent years, especially in large cities. However, it must be admitted that the rapid development of urban traffic has brought certain problems. One of the biggest problems, in my opinion, is the traffice jam. It has become common to see passengers and drivers having to wait in long lines of buses and cars during the rush hours. It is not easy to find the reasons and solutions for this complicated phenomenon which involves several factors. There are several reasons for this problem. First, the number of vehicles is increasing much more rapidly than the building of roads. No sooner has a new road been completed and opened to public trafic than it is crowded with all kinds of vehicles. Second, there seem to be too many private cars and not enough public buses. In most cases, a car carries only one or two people, while it occupies almost half of the space a bus does. Third, many people, including drivers, pedestrians and cyclists do not obey traffic rules properly, especially at busy intersections, which undoutedly worsen s then already grave situation. In view of the seriousness of this problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse, on one hand, the government should invest more money in the building of new roads and reparing and maintenance of old ones, particularly those in busy areas of the cities. On the other hand, the number of private cars in urban ares should be limited while the number of public buses should be increase. At the same time, it is essential that stricter traffic rules and regulations should be issued to strengthen traffic control. To conclude, various elements are contributing to traffic jams in big cities and unless proper methods are taken, the situation will surely worsen in the future.5. 弱势群体类The university should accept equal number of male and female students on evey subject. Do you agree or disagree?范文Whether the university should accept the equal number of male and female students on every subject is a commonly discussed topic. Some people claim that it should be the policy; otherwise it will raise a discrimination based on gender. But from the point of my view, the ratio of men ans women students in college ought to be different depending on different areas.First of all, let us talk about the so-called first natre, in general, boys love machines much more than girls do from their early childhood. Boys like playing with cars, games, while girls lobe Babe Dolls and decorating their bedrooms. It can certainly be expected tat more boys are interested in engeineering, and more girls intend to choose literature or education when they grow up.Secondly, psychologically speaking, men are morelogical and women are moresensitie and careful. That is why you see dominant party of girls in nursing school. At the same time, dealing with mathematics is a piece of cake to boys but a big disaster to most of girls. To choose a subject depneds on the individual’s personality, so it will be unreasonable for the university to take equal numbers of males and females on every subject. At last, in today’s society, there are still different social responsibilities to males and females. Even though in more and more fields, for example, biological research or computer scienc, you can see no big difference between the two genders but not the other one. We are all used to meeting a sweet nurse in white at hospital but may feel weird to see a big guy injecting flu shot to you. From what has been discussed above, we can easily see the truth that males and females have physiological differences and are interested in different fields. So I can not see a convincing reason to urge the university to accept equal numbers on males and females.6. 媒体类Advertisements are getting their way into people’s lives. Should advertisements be restricted?范文:Everywhere, and almost at any time, we find ourselves surrounded by all kinds of advertisements. Some people suggest that there should be some restrictions on advertisements. But on the other hand, there are also many people who strongly advocate that advertisements should not be restricted. For my part, I absolutely agree with the latter point of view. The reasons are presented below. The first reason that can be seen by every person is that advertisements provide us with much useful information. Advertisements keep us well-informed about products. As a result, we can compare them and choose the best and cheapest one. In addition, we can also find a job or rent a house with the help of advertisements.Another factor that we must consider is that advertisements bring us a lot of entertainment. Just imagine what a bus station or a newspaper would be like without advertisements. Would you enjoy watching a blanck wall or reading traffic regulations while waiting for a bus? An interesting advertisement makes your waiting less dull and monotonous. The third and very important reason is that advertisements also provide money for newspaper, magazines, radios and TV stations. Many kinds of media could not survive without advertisements. Because of advertising, we can enjoy so many TV programs with so little money.A newspaper would cost much more if we had to pay its full price. From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that the government should not impose restrictions on advertisements. They provide much useful information for consumers. They make our life colorful with artistic pictures and words. What is more, they play an indispensable role in the survival and development of media.7.全球化类International tourism has become one of the biggest industries in the world. Some people think it unfortunately causes a lot of tension rather than understanding between people from different cultures. To what extent do you agree or disagree?范文International tourism has boomed to be the biggest industry in the world. What was once the “grand tour”, reserved for only the very rich, is now within everybody’s grasp. Some people think it would definitely improve understanding of people from different cultures. However, I believe it causes a lot of tension instead. The aim of most international toursits is for sightseeing. Their stay is generally too short for them to give more than a cursory glance. A strict schedule makes it impossible for the tourist to have chance to communicate with local people. Even if they are lucky enough to be among the locals, languages is always a barrier. Thus, any deep understanding about local cultures or communication with local residents is out of the question.Tension arises frequently when international tourists are found to show disrespect for local customs due to their unawareness of local traditions of history. Last year, I, followed by a couple of friends, traveled to a small county located in Bolivia. Surprisingly, we happened to see thousans of people singing and dancing on the street. Three guys dressed in local costume swayed badly towards us, bringing drinking beer for us. Owing to out arrival in a totally new place, we declined to take any alcoho in case of being trapped. Unexpectedly quarrels occurred and one of them spitted onus, whose behavior turned our journey to be a trip of humiliation ans resentment. As a matter of fact, the local residents were celebrating yearly Beer Festival. Our refusal was regarded as a bad manner to look down upon them.Difference between people from different cultures has been formed for a long time. Can some international trips solve the problem?8. 犯罪类Should criminals be sent to prison or should they do something else as a punishment? Explain your opinion and give your reasons.范文In recent years, the record of crime rate has been constantly renewed. Some people are of the opinion that criminals should be sent into prison. On the other hand, towards the same issue, many others insist that the law offenders should be punished to do something for the public. From my own perspective, I am completely for the former point of view. My arguments for this point are listed as follows.First of all, it can ensure a safe and comfortable living environment to the law-abiding citizens. For criminals like thieves, robbers, rapists or even murderers, it is improper or even dangerous to let them out of jails, because they still pose threat to our society. Just as an old saying goes, “Mercy to the criminal may be cruelty to the people.”Another reason why I advocate the attitude is that the imprisonment of criminals not only punishes the criminals but aslo deters the potential criminals. It will make would-be criminals think twice before they commit a crime. Researches reveal that there is a dierect link between the implementation of imprisoning criminals and the decline of crime rate. Without the practice, the world would be in great chaos and fulll of blood and violence. Some people may say that the practice lays a heavy financial burden on the government. In fact, if the police want the behavior of the criminals to be under control, they have to spend more money and time in supervising the criminals after they are set free. Futhermore, once the criminals commit crimes again, it will take the police much trouble to catch them. In addition, the loss and the damage to the victims will be irreparable. From what has been discussed above, I think the correct attitude is that criminals should be imprisoned in jails and receive compulsory reclaim.9. 文化类Multicultural societies, which are a mixture of different ethnic groups, bring more benefits than drawbacks for a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this conclusion?范文:In an era of globalization our societies have become increasingly multicultural. Most international cities have become melting pots for immigrants from all over the world seeking a better life. While there are both benefits and drawbacks to a multicultural society, it is safe to say that the pros outweigh the cons.First of all, people from different countries bring beautiful traditions with them. Think of all the wonderful international food, music, customs and cultures that these immigrants bring. They make our cities vibrant and attractivee places to live in and to visit for tourists. Think of all the China towns across the world, for example. Moreover, most of the people who immigrate from other countries are industrious. First generation immigrants often leave their home countries because of war and other bad circumstances. So when they make a new start, they tend to be appreciative and work hard to save money and create a good home for their kids. They tend to be model citizens. On the flip side, there can be some challenges. Not all immigrants can speak the local language well and that causes problems for assimilating. Such people often tend to stick with friends of their own ethnicity. And sometimes, different religious and ethnic traditions have trouble co-existing peacefully. But generally speaking such conflicts are few.So the bottom line is that multiculturalism is a generally positive trend. By living with people from other places our horizons are broadened and we will become more accepting. Surely this is a positive trend in the age of a global villiage.10. 社会观念类Some people believe that personal happiness is directly related to economic success. Others believe there are other factors. What do you think?范文The persuit of happiness has long been the dream of generations of human beings. They have always been puzzled by the essence of happiness. What is happiness? Is it closely related to one’s economic success? Will one’s financial success lead to happiness directly? Personally, I do not agree that one’s economic success is the only prerequisite of one’s happiness in life. One’s materialistic happiness is dependant on one’s economic success, though not completely. Without a strong and steady economic background, one could never imagine an easy ans simple life, let alone an affluent and luxurious one. If you are not able to afford a house, a car, or even a book, anybody would be horrified at the mere mention of this kind o life. Definitely, some people will feel happy right away if their basic demands for life are satisfied. However, we have to admit that these people still need to be successful materialistically to some degree. On the other hand, one’s success in economy may not necessarily lead to one’s spiritual happiness. As we all know, money does not get you everything and some even say that money is the root of all evils. One’s financial success may be built on the sacrifice of time, health and love, which are the three most essential elements of spiritual happiness. All of us are not new to this picture: a successful business man tasting loneliness alone with a broken heart. In my point of view, one’s economic success is only one of the key factors of happiness, but never the only one. To be happy, one needs to be both spiritually and materially satisfied though each of us may have a totally different picture of happiness.。
