Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island yet？(听说课)教学设计
Period 1 (Section A 1a-2c)
一、语言知识：
1、学习already and yet在现在完成时中的用法。
2、掌握现在完成时结构和了解其含义
3、复习一些评价性形容词。
4、了解一些著名的英文名著。
5、能掌握以下单词和短语：already, yet. island, treasure ,hear of, on Page 57,
hurry up, full of
二、语言技能
学习用现在完成时介绍自己并询问他人看过的名著和听过的音乐。
三、情感态度：
学生通过介绍并询问朋友曾经读过的书，来彼此交流，提高个人的文学修养和素养。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
T:When is WORLD BOOK DAY?
Show some famous books to Ss and get Ss to tell the names of them quickly.
T: These are good and fantastic books I have read. Could you tell me some more books that you have read or you haven’t read yet?
Write the sentences “I’ve already read…”and “I haven’t read …yet.”on the blackboard to help Ss understand the usage of already and yet.
Step 2在组长的带领下自读单词，读后小组展示。
(自学)
Step3 Presentation
Ask Ss to look at the themed picture and talk about them freely. Then ask them to match the books and the names.
Check the ones they know.
Step 4 Listening and practicing （自学、自做）
（1）T: Now let’s listen to the tape and find out what books they have read and what they think of the books.
Play the recording. Ask Ss to listen and check the answers with the whole class. (Section A 1b)
Ask the following questions:
What books have you heard?
Has Judy read it?
What does she think of it?
（2）Let Ss practice the conversation and then talk about the other books in 1a.

Play the recording. Ask Ss to listen and write T for true and F for false.
Step5.Tell a story.
组长带领本组成员讲故事，然后选一代表给大家讲故事。

Tell a story like this :
I have already read Robinson Crusoe . It’s a good
book. It’s amazing. It’s about a brave man.
Robinson is in danger on an island. The story tells
us Robinson how to save himself on the island.
Step6.组长带领本组成员完成汇报，然后选一代表起来汇报本小组结果（自做）Report like this :

Step7:Sumarry
Ask students to tell the differences of already and yet.(自检、自悟)
