Lesson 3 Good Food, Good Health
一、教学理念:
根据新课标,教师应把握好教学设计的系统性、科学性、有效性;时间分配的合理性,知识传递的准确性,学生学习的高效性;培养学生发现问题、解决问题的能力,帮助学生养成独立思考、共同讨论、合作探究的习惯;同时培养学生综合运用语言的能力及互助创新能力,课后师生及时交流,教师反思。

二、教材分析
本课是本单元的中心课文,主要讲述健康的饮食习惯,以及各种食物的介绍。

本课涉及到本单元的重点内容有:
1、Talking about eating habits
e.g. In your opinion, what’s a healthy and balanced diet?
2. Talking about food groups
e.g. A well-balanced diet includes foods from each food group.
而本课的主要内容就是在讨论食品类别,以及如何养成健康的饮食习惯,吃健康的均衡饮食。

三、教学策略
教学设计力求活用教学方法,全方位、多角度、多层次调动学生的主动性、积极性、培养合作意识和探究能力,由点到面、循序渐进、环环相扣,让学生在轻松、活跃的气氛中得到听、说、读、写四种技能的培养及能力的提高。

四、教学目标
1.帮助学生掌握语言目标知识,灵活运用本课的重点词汇、短语、句型
2.帮助学生掌握语言技能知识,学会用英语表达健康的饮食习惯。

3.帮助学生正确表达与本课有关的protein、grain、calcium、include等内容

八、教学过程
Step1 Lead-in (1minute)
T: What foods do you often eat every day?
S: Bread, noodles, dumplings......
Step 2 Learning the new words
1.首先四人一组认读单词,在读的过程中,找出不会发音的词。

教师巡回发现错误及时引导纠正;
2.教师领读、讲解单词及用法;并且玩单词游戏。

3.在单词的学习过程中,学生边学边记新单词和自己不会的已学单词
Step 2 Listen and answer: ( 5 minutes )
听听力并且回答问题,辅助理解文意。

1. How many food groups are there?
And what are they?
2. What is a balanced diet?
Step 3 Intensive Reading ( 10 minutes )
1.学生四人一组,自主学习课文,一起找出曾经学过的语言点,加以巩固复习。

教师鼓励学生积极回答而后利用多媒体一起复习。

2.小组成员一起找新语言点,共同探究。

然后讨论不理解的句子,译出恰当的汉语。

3.师生互动,一起学习课文。

在这个环节教师只需调控课堂,针对不同层次的学生提出不同的问题,让学生积极活动,教师适时引导和讲解就可以了。

2) What is the best food for Vitamin B1?
3) Why do we need fruits and vegetables?
4) In which countries, people often eat bean products?
5) Why do we need calcium?
Step 6. Practice (10 minutes )
1.完成课后习题。

十、教学反思
本课的设计以“好食物,好健康”为主题,描述了四种食物的分类,最后总结了如何才算是健康平衡的饮食,以学生容易感兴趣的话题开篇,并以活动形式导入。

学生基本掌握了重点的知识点和词汇,需要及时的、有效的课下练习巩固。

教师需要做好及时的教学评价,教学辅导。
