一、引言
近几年来，我们发现我院毕业生所写论文的中英、文摘要 存在很多问题，这直接影响学生毕业论文的质量，也影响学院 的形象。其实，摘要不合规范、错误百出的问题，不仅在我院 存在，在期刊论文中也存在。有人在统计2008年100种受检 “核心期刊/来源期刊”的英文摘要语言与编校主要差错后发 现，各种差错共计705处，其中语法差错254处,结构差错145处， 词语搭配差错51处,用词差错66处，表达与逻辑差错22处,英文 与中文不符11处，拼写差错40处，大小写差错30处，标点符号 差错28处，格式差错58处。(见图1)

已得到整个科技界或本行业科技人员公认和熟知 的缩略词语，才可用于题名中，否则不要轻易使用。

4 英文题目中的冠词
英文题目开头不用冠词the，an/a。在早年，科技论文题名中 的冠词用得较多，近些年有简化的趋势，凡可用可不用的冠词均 可不用。例如：The Effect of Groundwater Quality on the Wheat Yield and Quality （地下水的质量对小麦产量和质量的影响）中， 两个定冠词“the”均可不用。在表示特指 的事物时，有时也有用定冠词“the”的， 例如: The Italian Compliance Assurance Programme （意大利遵章保证计划）。
