二、教具录音机;有关本课词汇的图片等。

三、课堂教学设计1.复习值日生报告。

2.教师将本单元标题写在黑板上,带领学生认读,并予以必要讲解。

介绍fifth这个词,方法参考上单元第一、三课教案,要学生注意该词的读音与拼写形式。

3.教师出示图片,教授本课生词(如果没有与之相配套的图片,可采用课本中插图)。

放课文录音,学生打开书,反复跟读三遍。

教师解释定冠词the在本课中的用法(见难点讲解)。

4.利用本课插图,教师与学生进行以下问答练习:T:What cab you see in the picture?S1:(任选一项)I can see some birds.T:How many birds can you see?S1:I can see eight.进行示范问答之后,组织学生两人一组模仿示范问答进行练习。

之后,请几组同学表演。

提醒同学注意“house”一词变为复数形式后的读音,以及“people”不能说成“peoples”。

学生合上书,教师向学生提问,测试学生的记忆力,同时复习There +be句型:T:Are there any ships in the picture?Ss:Yes, there are.T:How many ships are there in the picture?Ss:There are two.如果时间允许,组织学生两人一组进行相似的问答练习。

四、难点讲解定冠词the的用法:在第一册第十单元中,同学们曾初步学习了定冠词的一些用法,教师可简单归纳一下:1)特指某(些)人或某(些)事物。

例如:A:Where are the students?学生们在哪儿?B:They’re in the classroom.在教室。

A:What about the teacher?老师呢?B:She’s in the classroom, too.也在教室。

2)指谈话双方彼此熟悉的人或事物。

例如:A:Where is the broom? Is it behind the door?扫帚在哪儿?在门后面吗?B:No, It isn’t. Oh, it’s over there, under the window.不在门后。

噢,在那边的窗子下面。

本课出现的定冠词表示世界上独一无二的事物。

例如:the moon月亮。

教师可指导学生查阅课本后面有关定冠词用法的说明。
