和显像管电视一样，液晶显示屏也会因为长时间工作引起内部的老化或被烧坏，尤其糟糕的是长时间内显示同一画面。
如果长时间地连续显示一个国定的内容，就有可能导致某些LCD像素过热，进而造成内部产生坏点。
而这种损坏是不可逆的，且不能修复。
因此在使用时应该注意：不用的时候，关闭显示屏如果只是暂时不用，就选择屏幕保护程序，或者把显示屏的亮度调低一点。
不过这些保护程序只是保护液晶屏，后面的灯管还一直在工作，所以直接关闭显示屏更稳妥。
二、放置的地方，环境要保持干燥并远离化学药品。
如果电视放置的环境湿度很大，电器内部就会结露，容易造成漏电、短路等。
如果不小心湿气进入液晶显示屏，就必须将电视换置到较温暖的地方，以便让其中的水分挥发掉。
平时家庭中使用的发胶、灭蚊剂等都是挥发性很高的化学品，也会对液晶显示屏造成损伤，要尽量远离液晶电视。
三、液晶显示屏不能频繁清洗。
液晶电视使用久了，屏幕就会成为“大花脸”，怎么办？正确的清理方法：拿一块沾有少许玻璃清洁剂的特殊屏幕擦布，小心地把污迹擦去，擦拭时力度要轻，否则显示屏会因此而短路损坏。
