Introduction
The Higher Education English Proficiency Test (HEEPT) is an English
proficiency exam intended for students that have finished their high school
education in China and are planning on attending a university or college in an
English-speaking country. This exam is intended to evaluate a student's ability
to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
HEEPT is made up of four components: listening, reading, writing, and
speaking. The exam is generally multiple-choice, but the writing and speaking
sections may require short answer or essay responses. To be successful, a
student will need to develop strong English language skills in all four of these
