八年级英语上Unit7 Integrated skills教学设计(牛津译林版)8A Unit 7 Seasons 教学设计第五课时 Integrated skills一、教学分析教学内容 Integrated skills(第87~88页)教材分析 Intergrated skills部分主要通过出示图片、播放录音让学生学习一些描述天气的词汇。

本课时重点为听、说技能的训练,要求学生能用一些功能用语谈论季节。

学情分析本单元的话题是四季,通过前面几个课时的学习学生对四季的表达及特点已经较为熟知,在读、写能力上有了很大提升,但在听、说方面教师们还需要用多种途径帮助学生加强练习,从而使得学生听说读写能力全面发展。

教学项目词汇: cloud, cough, kick, awful, fever, snowstorm, wind, around, rest, degree, bit, blow, loud, ring 词组: in different places, according to, because of, as we all know, far away from, for example, hear about, a bit, take care 句型: The wind will be stronger and the temperature will drop below zero, to -10C. Today I learnt more about weather. It can be so different in different places. How is the weather in Nanjing? 教学方法任务型教学法、学生中心教学法、多媒体教学、归纳教学法教学目标语言知识 To learn some useful words and expressions about the weather. 语言技能 To develop their abilities of listening, speaking about the weather. 语言运用 To learn to use superlative to express preference about seasons. 文化意识Poetry is the highest form of literature, the highest art, is the essence of all knowledge. 情感态度 To learn to cooperate with others. 学习策略 autonomic learning strategy cooperative learning strategy 教学重点 To learn the new words and phrases to describe the weather. 教学难点To train the students’ ability of listening, speaking about the weather. 教学用具Multimedia,tape-recorder,chalk,blackboard二、课堂教学过程时间教学步骤教师活动学生活动教学目的第1-5 分钟 Lead-in 1. Watch a video about weather in differentareas. 2. Ask the students work in groups to describe them with the knowledge that they have learnt in the past. 3. choose the best group. Learn the new words and expressions. 通过各种比赛图片对学生进行头脑风暴练习---和比赛相关词汇的复习,很好地导入话题。

根据对图片的讨论,导入生词的学习。

第6-10分钟Presentation 1 Watch a video about weather in different areas of China. China is a big country. In the south of China, it's warm in winter. But in the north, it's cold in winter. 2 Look at the pictures of Australia. The beaches there are very famous. Do you like going to the beach to lie in the sun and eat ice cream? In Australia, you can go to the beach and enjoy the sunshine in December. 学When it's winter in China, it's summer in Australia.呈现澳大利亚四季的图片,了解两地的差异之处。

Watch the video about weather. Look at the pictures of Australia. Try to find out the difference between China and Australia. 指导学生将中国南北方的气候进行对比,将中国和澳大利亚的过程中获取有用信息,回答老师的问题,为下面的听力任务打好铺垫。

第11-25钟 Practice 1. Ask students to finish some parts of the table of A1 on P87. 2. Ask students to say how to do the listening better. Give them some suggestions on listening skills. 3. Ask students to listen to the tape twice and complete the A2 on P 87. 4. Check answers together and if necessary listen to the tape again. 5. Play the tape again, complete Part A3 on P88, and correct some information. ①Annie is writing about the weather in different places in her diary entry. Listen to her conversation with Simon. Help her complete her diary entry.②Have you finished Annie's diary entry? First, please check the answers in pairs. Then we'll check as a class.6. Ask students to read the listening materials as soon as possible and find out the Important information. Learn the listening skills.Listen to the tape and finish the exercises.Check answers together.Read the listening materials 提醒学生要听时捕捉关键词,理解文章主要意思,指导学生听前先阅读并猜测,听时用缩写或简写速记单词,听后再补全单词,培养良好的听力习惯和技巧。

根据学生完成情况,对听力材料进行选择性播放,利于学生学会抓关键词。

对听力原文的呈现,有助于学生查漏补缺,让学生可以对听力材料进行很好的消化、吸收。

第26-30分钟 Presentation 1. Ask some questions: ①What’s the weather like in Sydney while it is snowy in Beijing? ②Why the weather is different among different cities?2. Play the tape and then answer the questions. Listen to the tape carefully and answer the questions:利用问题承上启下,让学生听对话,利用所学的听力技巧捕捉老师设置的问题中的关键信息,学以致用。

第31-42分钟 Practice 1. Play the tape again and ask students to read after it. 2. Ask students to conclude the ways of giving the weather report. If necessary, the teacher adds some ways and writes them on the blackboard.3. Work in pairs and ask students make a similar dialogue as the model. Read after the tape. Conclude the ways of giving adviceMake similar dialogues. 跟读对话,学生自我检查听的效果,并且在读得过程中总结提建议的方法,对学生的已有知识进行系统的归纳总结。

小组合作编对话,将所学到的提建议的方法用于实处。

第43-45分钟 Activity 1听一段中国四个不同地区的天气预报,然后把学生分成两人小组,其中一个扮演记者,另一个扮演学生接受采访。

2提供采访中可能用到的问题,促使每个学生参与课堂活动。

Have an interview in groups.以采访的形式结束本课的学习,很容易激发学生学习兴趣,勇于表达出已有知识,在生动活泼的形式中对本节课所学重点加以练习,巩固所学知识。
