英语高中记叙文作文范文A Trip to the Countryside。
It was the summer of my sophomore year in high school when my family decided to take a trip to the countryside. We had always lived in the city and rarely had the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life. My parents thought it would be a great idea to spend some time in the countryside, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy the beauty of nature. We packed our bags and drove for several hours until we reached a small village surrounded by green hills andfields of crops. The village was very different from the city. There were no tall buildings, no traffic, and no noise. Instead, we saw small houses with thatched roofs, chickens running around, and people working in the fields. We stayed in a small cottage with a beautiful garden. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, with a fireplace andwooden furniture. We spent the first day exploring the village, visiting the local market, and buying fresh vegetables and fruits from the farmers. We also went to a nearby river where we swam and had a picnic. The next day, we decided to hike up one of the hills. The climb was steep and challenging, but the view from the top was breathtaking. We could see the whole village, the fields, and the distant mountains. We sat there for a while, admiring the scenery and taking photos. In the evening, we had a barbecue in the garden. We grilled some meat, vegetables, and corn, and enjoyed a delicious meal under the stars. We also played some games and told stories around the fire. The rest of the week was spent exploring more of the countryside. We visited a nearby waterfall, went horseback riding, and even helped the farmers harvest their crops. We learned a lot about rural life, and it was a great experience for us to see how people lived differently from us.As the week came to an end, we packed our bags and said goodbye to the village. We were sad to leave, but we knew we would always cherish the memories we made there. Thetrip to the countryside was a great escape from our busy city life, and it was a reminder of the beauty of nature and the simplicity of life.。
高中英语作文范文记叙文第1篇Today, early in the morning, when I woke up, I found it was later for half an hour than I usually did。
Then I remembered that I didn’t set up the morning call last night。
So I just grabbed some bread and rushed to the bus station。
The bus seemed always not appearing when I needed it。
Finally, I took on a bus, then I felt so relieved, because I wouldn’t be late for school。
Suddenly, the bus stopped and the driver told us to change another bus, because there was something wrong with the wheels。
I was so worried。
When I arrived school, I was late。
It was such a bad day for me。
Like most Chinese primary students, my life is quite simple. Get up in the morning, have breakfast and then go to school. My day always begins like that. But every single day is so different from each other. For example, I meet different people on my way to school. I have different new classes every day, so I always learn new knowledge. And the happiness is different. Yesterday I might be happy because I got high scores in the exam, but today I am happy because I play with my classmates. Knowledge and happiness make my every single day and life rich.和绝大部分中国小学生一样,我的生活很简单。

The high school students were excitedly preparing for their English class, as they were going to write a narrative essay. The teacher had asked them to write about a memorable experience in their lives, and they were all eager to share their stories. One student, named Jack, sat down at his desk and began to recall a particular event that had left a deep impression on him. It was the day when he went on a hiking trip with his family to a beautiful mountain. As he started to write, the memories came flooding back to him.He vividly described the breathtaking scenery, the lush green trees, and the clear blue sky. He used descriptive language to paint a picture of the tranquil atmosphere, the chirping of the birds, and the rustling of the leaves. The reader could almost feel the gentle breeze and hear the sound of the flowing stream. As Jack delved deeper into his narrative, he recounted the challenges they faced during the hike. He talked about the steep and rugged trails, the slippery rocks, and the exhaustion they felt as they climbed higher. Growing up, I always had a deep fascination with the English language. It was not just a subject for me, but a gateway to a world of diverse cultures and ideas. My journey with English has been a colorful tapestry woven with threads of learning, laughter, and a few tears. Here, I recount a pivotal moment in my high school years when I truly came to appreciate the beauty and power of English. It was the eve of the English composition competition in my school, a prestigious event that attracted the best and the brightest. I had been preparing for weeks, pouring over vocabulary lists, practicing sentence structures, and honing my narrative skills. The theme of the competition was A Day in My Life, a simple yet profound topic that required a deep introspection into the mundane yet meaningful moments of daily life. The night before the competition, I sat at my desk, staring at a blank sheet of paper. My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, ideas, and fears. I had written and rewritten my essay countless times, but nothing seemed to capture the essence of what I wanted to convey. The clock ticked away, and the pressure mounted. I felt like I was standing at the edge of a precipice, ready to take a leap of faith into the unknown. The next morning, I woke up with a renewed sense of determination. As I walked to school, I observed the world around me with fresh eyes. The chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, and the laughter of children playing in the park all seemed to speak to me in a language that was both familiar and foreign. I realized that the essence of my day was not in the grand events, but in the small, intimate moments that make life trulyspecial. With this newfound perspective, I approached my essay with a sense of clarity and purpose. I began with a vivid description of waking up to the first light of dawn, the warmth of the suns rays on my face, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the house. I then moved on to describe my morning routine, the hustle and bustle of school, and the camaraderie among my classmates. As I wrote, I felt a surge of emotions. There was a sense of joy in capturing the beauty of everyday life, a tinge of sadness in acknowledging the fleeting nature of time, and a sense of awe at the power of language to convey these complex emotions. I wrote about the laughter shared with friends, the challenges faced in class, and the quiet moments of reflection during the evening walk. The competition day arrived, and I stood in front of the panel of judges, my heart pounding in my chest. As I began to read my essay, I felt a strange sense of calm wash over me. The words flowed effortlessly, painting a vivid picture of my day and the emotions that accompanied it. I could see the judges nodding in appreciation, their eyes reflecting the same emotions that I had experienced while writing. When I finished, there was a moment of silence, followed by a round of applause. I had won the competition, but more importantly, I had won a deeper understanding of the power of language and the beauty of storytelling. The experience taught me that English was not just a subjectto be studied, but a tool to express the deepest emotions and connect with the world around me.Looking back, I realize that the journey of writing that essay was a transformative experience. It was a moment of selfdiscovery, a testament to the power of language, and a celebration of the simple yet profound beauty of everyday life. It was a reminder that in the world of English, there are no boundaries, only endless possibilities waiting to be explored.。

记叙文
Narration
To narrate is to give an account of an event or a series of events. In its broadest sense, narrative writing includes stories, real or imaginary, biographies, histories, news items, and narrative poems.
Narration often goes hand in hand with description. When one tells a story, one describes its setting and characters. On the other hand, accounts of actions may be necessary to the description of a person or a scene.
When planning a narrative, the writer should consider these five aspects:
Context: When, where, and to whom the action in a narrative happened
2 ) Selection of details: There should be enough details so that the reader knows what is happening, but there should not be too many of them, or the reader will be confused and lose interest in the story
Organization: Events are normally related in chronological order; but you may wish to use a flashback, starting in the middle or near the end and then returning to tell the beginning.
Points of view: A story can be told in first person or in the third person.
Purpose: To achieve different purpose, a writer may choose different details and design the plot of a story differently.
Learn to revise what you write. Please read the following guidelines carefully.
1) Reexamine your purpose and audience. Are you doing what you intended?
2) Revise to make the main idea of your account clearer. You don't need a “moral”to the story or a bald statement saying “This is why this person was important,”but the reader should know clearly why you wanted to write about a particular event.
3) Revise to clarity the important relationships in your story. Consider relationships between past and present, between you and the people in your story, between one place and another place, between one event and another event.
4) Close and detailed observation is crucial. Show, don't just tell.
5) Revise to show crucial changes, contrasts or conflicts more clearly.
6) Have you used a straight chronological order? If it words, keep it. If not, would another order be better? Should you begin in the middle and do a flashback? Do you want to move back forth from present to past or stay in the past until the end?
If you are using chronological order, cue your reader by occasionally using transitional words to signal changes: then, when, first, next, last, before, after, while, as, sooner, later, initially, finally, yesterday, today.
7) What are the key images in your account? Should you add or delete an image to show the experience more vividly?
8) Revise sentences to improve clarity, conciseness, emphasis, and variety.
9) When you are relatively satisfied with your draft, edit for correct spelling, appropriate word choice, punctuation, and grammar.。
