Unit 5 How tall are you?
1．游戏名称：比一比，说一说
游戏目的：复习表示长短、大小、轻重、高矮、新旧的形容词。
提示词语：long short，big，small，tall，light，heavy，new，old….
游戏时间：5分钟
游戏指导：（1）教师布置任务，要求学生在陈述句中尽可能多地使用已学过的表示长短、大小、高矮、轻重、新旧的形容词；
（2）学生3～4人一组合作造句（例如：“Our classroom is big．／Mr. Chen is tall．／My grandfather is old．／His ruler is long.”等），并推选一位学生记录；
（3）小组成员将共同补充和修改后的句子誊抄后交给老师；
（4）教师根据各组学生所写的句子的数量和质量作出等级评价，对有创意的句子（例如：“My hair is long，but Mr. Li's hair is short．”等）酌情加分，并展示给全班学生。
2．游戏名称：比大小
游戏目的：练习形容词比较级bigger和smaller。
游戏时间：5分钟
游戏指导：将扑克牌洗牌后抽出一张(如6)并秀出，之后将全班分组竞赛，猜测下一张牌是bigger 或smaller。
若猜中则得该张牌的分数(如猜bigger且下一张牌为10，则得10分)；否则
不得分。
游戏示例：
T：(Draw a card and show it to the class) It’s six. Now, let’s guess the next card, bigger or smaller?
G1: Bigger.
G2: Smaller
G3: Bigger.

T: Let’s see. (Draw the second card and show it to the class) oh, it’s five. G2 is the winner this time. Congratulations to G2 and add 5 points to G2. Now, let’s guess the next card, bigger or smaller?
(The game goes on. The group getting the most Points is the winner.)
3．游戏名称：Saying Relay轮流说
游戏目的：练习描绘身体特征及回答。
游戏时间：5分钟
道具准备：准备一枝笔当作接力棒。
游戏指导：将学生分组，每组各准备一枝笔当作接力棒，各组学生视自己的情况，轮流说出I am tall / short/strong/thin/ ….并将接力棒传给下一位，最快完成的该组获胜；第二次以相同方式进行，
学生除了说出I am tall / short.还须在接力棒递给下一位学生时说Are you taller / shorter/
stronger/thinner …. than me? 接棒的同学回答：“Yes, I’m.或No, I’m not.”然后说I am tall /
short/strong/thin…..将接力棒递给下一位学生时再说：Are you taller /
shorter/stronger/thinner ….than me? 说得最快最好的小组获胜。
游戏示例：
S1: I am tall. (Pass the stick to S2)Are you taller than me?
S2: No, I’m not. I’m short but I’m strong. (Pass the stick to S3) Are you stronger than me?
S3: Yes, I’m. I’m strong and tall. (Pass the stick to S4) Are you taller than me?
…
(The group speaking fastest and best becomes the winner.)。
