Module2 Unit2 London is a big city. 教学设计一、教材本节课是《Module2Unit London is a big city.》是外研版三年级起点四年级下册第二模块第一单元的内容。
本模块要求了解英国首都伦敦的标志建筑特征。
通过能运用所学单词、句型进行交流,正确介绍某个城市或风景。
本节课在本模块中占有重要的地位。
二、学情四年级的学生思维比较活跃,喜欢探究发现学习,接受知识的能力也较强,敢说敢演,善于表现,而且也掌握了一定的英语学习方法及策略,这些都是我在教学中可以利用的资源。
三、课程标准解读,说教学目标《英语课程标准》中提出:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略。
发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是小学英语教学的基本任务。

教学重点: 单词和目标句型的教学及运用教学难点:如何让学生运用London is a big city. My house is very small, but it’s beautiful. It’s very old.句型对事物作出判断。
教学方法:任务型教学法、情景教学法、直观教学法、合作探究教学法、教学准备:课件、单词卡、英语书四、教学方法结合小学生活泼好动的年龄和性格特点,运用表演、手势体态语,促使学生多听、多读、多说、多写,采用任务型教学法,情境教学法,合作探究教学法,游戏教学法。

教学反思
在学习《London is a big city.》这节课前,我给学生布置了一个预习作业,查找英国伦敦的信息。
而他们预习得也非常好,对于课文提到的伦敦的标志性建筑都有一定的了解。
反思这节课我做得好的地方有以下几点:
1、提前布置家庭作业,学生查找资料时间充裕,为新课的学习做好了铺垫。
2、PPT授课让学生更直观,更全面地理解了课文内容。
弥补了学生因缺乏渠道,查找的资料匮乏的不足之处。
3、课堂上,我一直注重跟学生的互动,对回答不正确的学生给予正确的引导,让学生树立信心。
但是这节课也存在以下问题:
1、由于查找资料渠道的缺乏,学生们找的资料不够完善,或者不熟悉不理解,在今后的课上还要适时辅导学生查找资料及汇报的方法。
2、由于时间掌握不够好,学生读课文读得还不够多。
3、在学生能够用所学形容词描述课文中这些著名建筑和名胜古迹的图片时,还可以引用其他我国的名胜效果会更好。
