SPECIFICATIONS**order 8-pin socket # 51X120DESCRIPTIONThe Model 261 series Alternating Relay is designed for duplex pumping systems where it is desirable to equalize pump run time. The solid state alternating circuit drives an internal electromechanical relay.A continuous power source and control switch are required. The control switch (float, pressure or other isolatedcontact) is connected between the L1 terminal and the control terminal. Each time the control switch is opened the output contacts will change states. Indicator lights on the case show the internal relay status. On the optional toggle switch versions, the toggle switchisset to the NORMAL position. Setting the switch to Load 1 or Load 2 will lock the relay in position, preventing alternation. HPFF8(E) andHPFF8CM(E)8 Amp and 24-Volt Power SuppliesDN-60645:B1DescriptionThe Honeywell HPFF8(E) and HPFF8CM(E) ar e NotificationAppliance Circuit (NAC) Expander Power Supplies designed toextend the power capabilities of existing NACs and pr ovidepower for auxiliar y devices. The HPFF8 and HPFF8CM con-nects to any 12 or 24V Fir e Alar m Contr ol Panel (FACP) oroperates stand-alone.They pr ovide r egulated and filter ed 24VDC power to fourNAC's and an auxiliary output. The NAC outputs are rated at3.0 amps each and the auxiliar y output is rated at 2.0 amps(this output is continuously supplied, even in alarm, and there-fore must be taken into account for power supply loading andbattery size calculations). The combined output cannot exceed8.0 amps. The HPFF8 and HPFF8CM provide independent output circuitsupervision so in the event of a NAC fault they can notify theattached FACP. In addition they have a trouble memor y fea-ture that displays past troubles (by NAC) for rapid diagnostics.Synchronization is built in for five appliance brands. The HPFF8 and HPFF8CM have two fully independent super-vised initiating cir cuits that can be used for synchr onizedstrobes and coded hor ns. Their NAC outputs may be config-ured as any of the following:•four Class B (Style Y)•two Class A(Style Z)•two Class B and one Class A•four Class A with the optional HPP31076 Class A adapter These power supplies contain an inter nal Batter y char ger capable of charging up to 26.0 amp-hour (AH) batteries. The HPFF8 is mounted in a lockable wall cabinet that can accommodate up to two 18AH batter ies. The HPFF8CM is designed to mount in Notifier’s large CAB-4 series or equip-ment series enclosure (order separately). Each HPFF8CM can accommodate two 12AH batteries. One of the most challenging aspects of a retrofit application is locating the existing End-of-Line (EOL) resistor. In these appli-cations that have EOL values other than the 3.9k nor mally used with the HPFF8, a single resistor matching the existing EOL can be used as a reference for all the outputs. This fea-tur e speeds installation and system checkout because the actual EOL does not need to be located and changed in the circuit. The reference resistor must be within the range of 1.9k to 25k.NOTE: 4 separate programming resistors for the HPFF8 are pro-vided in the hardw are kit shipped w ith each HPFF8(E) and HPFF8CM(E). ·300·IMP&HIRFL Annual Report2015 of tiny size, low power-consumption and good portability, extremely well meeting the requirements of the power supply for the PMT in the mobile station with a car battery.6)The design of the tuning capacitor for the DTL2RF cavityA new member who ever works in RF department recently joined our group. This is her work in RF group. DTL2RF cavity is designed to install in SSC-LINAC intermediate energy beam line, whose working frequency is 53.667MHz and working mode is CW.Next year,we will continue to do HIRFL operation and maintenance work, and also put the necessary studies on the pre-research of the new launched HIAF project.References[1]Jianchuan Zhang,Yanyu Wang,Detai Zhou,et al.,IMP&HIRFL2014Annual Report,(2014)231.[2]Yanyu Wang,Wenxiong Zhou,Jinfu Luo,et al.,Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research A,738(2014)50.[3]Yanyu Wang,Jianchuan Zhang,Gangyang Nan,et al.,Nuclear Electronics and Detection Technology,30(2010)63.6-26Power Supplies Control for Electron Cooling of CSRmSu Jianjun,Wang Yanyu and Zhang JianchuanTo improve the efficiency of Electron Cooling Control System of CSRm,power supplies control system was designed and set up in September2015.The control software package is developed with Visual C++,which is able to control and monitor all power supplies. In order to prevent the power supplies’leakage accident which may cause the breakdown of other device, alarm and interlock-protection functions are added to the software and hardware. The control system conforms to software pattern of MVC consisting of four layers, namely,User Interface(UI), System Interaction(SI),Problem Domain(PD),and Data Management(DM).UI correspond to remote monitoring, SI to server control,PD tofield control and DM to Database. These layers imply the hierarchical structure of the system. The control architecture is capable of extending the system functions and upgrading devices. The server control layer plays a key role in the control system. The TCP/IP protocol is adopted for data transmission, and embedded SQL is used for data processing and storage. The network interconnects all the different types of control hardware and provides a way to communicate with any other system,as shown in Fig.1.Fig.1(color online)The scene of electron cooling for CSRm.The communication between the controller and serial switch is implemented through an optical-to-electrical signal converter, which can be controlled through the RS485protocol.The device between the converters is single-mode glassfiber. The control software is designed as independent classes. Thus, new devices can be easily added. If a new device is added,it is only necessary to instantiate the classes and call the functions of the classes. Most of the functions are called by these classes. For the hardware, the new controller connected to the intranet must be accessed through a2015IMP&HIRFL Annual Report·301·switch or a serial server.Fig.2shows the remote control software interface. The system was completed and became operational in March2016.This system can acquire data at a maximal rate of3times per second and complete the entire interlock protection and alarm process in one second.Fig.2(color online)Remote control software interface. The developed system enables remote control of the Power supplies. Thus far,the system has been running successfully for more a month.Tests have shown that the system offers the advantages of precision, efficiency, stability and convenient operation.6-27Motion Control System of SFC ExtractionElectrostatic DeflectionZhang Jianchuan,Wang Yanyu,Zhou Detai,Zhang Xiaoying,Yang Weiqing and Su JianjunA SFC-ES(Electrostatic Deflection)position monitoring and limit alarm system was built in2014.As planned, the motion control part of SFC-ES is going to be upgraded and joined into this system in2015to complete a closed loop motion control system[1].During the HIRFL2015summer maintains, this motion control function was realized and tested several times before used to verify the control and detection precision. At present, the overall control accuracy is about0.2mm.In order to save the precious summer maintain time,a lot of work was done before summer:four motor-driver boxes were assembled;each box includes two step motor drivers and two transformers.A PLC function module with one controller and eight PWM modules was assembled and tested. Each PWM module controls one motor. It send the direction signal and pulse signal to the driver. The PLC program is design with the Phoenix PC WORX platform.Block diagram and script language are mixed used to complete the program. In the lab experiment using a test motor,PLC program was modified and verified.Fig.1shows the PLC module and driver boxes in the cabinet.Lots of mechanical upgrades were also done during the summer maintains such as the transmission mechanism optimization and rotating resistance ruler change. So lots of wiring and welding work should be done according to the mechanical changes. We can see from the left part of comparison of user Interface shown as Fig.2,there are only5columns corresponding5rotating resistance rulers in the monitoring part, and in the new one, there are8 resistance rulers. Each ruler has to be calibrated during the software design.。
