教学过程

Step 1:Warm-up 1.日常口语问候。

2.教师播放Unit 1歌曲“My small cat”,学生跟着哼唱。

3.复习Part A单词。

(1)我猜我猜我猜猜猜。规则：教师低声说单词，学生根据教师的口型说出单词及其中文意思。

(2)头脑风暴。教师说中文，学生快速说出英文单词。

4.找同学表演上节课Let’s learn的对话。

S1:How tall are you?

S2:I’m … metres.

S1:You are taller / shorter than me. How old is he?

S2:He’s … years old. He’s older / younger than me.

Step 2resentation

1.Let’s try.

(1)学生认真读题。

(2)教师播放录音，学生听录音并答题。

(3)核对答案。

（4）教师对录音中的知识点进行讲解。

2.Let’s talk.

(1)出示Let’s talk课件或挂图，教师问: Who are they? Where are they?

学生回答，再引导出重点语句。

第一课时

一、教学目标：

1．能听、说、读、写taller, stronger, older, younger, shorter等有关比较级的单词。

2．能初步了解形容词比较级的一般规律，懂得than是比较的意思，than的前面要用形容词的比较级。

3．能正确使用You are taller / … than your brother. Yes! I’m 160 cm tall. He’s 159 cm tall.等句子，并根据实际情境进行描述。

二、教学内容：

1．词汇：taller, stronger, older, younger, shorter。

2．句型：You are taller than your brother. Yes! I’m 160 cm tall. He’s 159 cm tall.

三、教学重难点：

1．重点：四会掌握taller, stronger, older, younger, shorter五个新单词。

2．难点：懂得单位cm即centimeter，并能正确朗读；会正确使用本课句型 You are …er than .... 进行描述。

四、教学准备：

课件、录音机、磁带、单词卡片、测量身高工具（建议可画墙上）等。
