传统创业者是指那些对传统的行业，如餐饮、房地产、服装等筹集资金投资，建立工厂，生产产品，为顾客提供产品或服务的创业者。

而技术创业者以突出技术为主，创办的企业一般比较小，产品的技术含量高，附加值比较高，利润空间比较大。

二、创业者的类型随着经济的发展，投身创业的人越来越多，据我国《科学投资》杂志对国内上千例创业者案例的研究，发现国内创业者基本可以分成以下类型。

Entrepreneurial Management第一章创业的概念（一）生存型创业者生存型创业者大多为下岗工人、失去土地或因为种种原因不愿困守乡村的农民，以及刚刚毕业找不到工作的大学生。

这是中国数量最大的创业人群。

清华大学的调查报告说，这一类型的创业者占中国创业者总数的90%。

其中许多人是被逼上梁山，为了谋生混口饭吃。

一般创业范围均局限于商业贸易，少量从事实业，也基本是小型的加工业。

当然也有因为机遇成长为大中型企业的，但数量极少，因为现在国内市场已经不像20多年前，如刘永好兄弟、鲁冠球、南存辉他们那个创业时代，经济短缺，机制混乱，机遇遍地。

如今这个时代，用句俗话来说就是狼多肉少，仅想依靠机遇成就大业，早已是不切实际的幻想了。

（二）主动型创业者主动型创业者又可以分为两种，一种是盲动型创业者，一种是冷静型创业者。
