Step 1 Greeting
T: Good morning, everyone! How are you today?

Step 2 Leading in
T: Sometimes, if we have a good mood, that means if we feel happy, or if we go on a trip to somewhere, we always want to take a picture, right? Well, we know yesterday, Liming, Danny, Jenny visited Tian’anmen Square. Today, they are taking pictures at the Palace Museum. So, in this lesson, our topic is taking pictures at the Palace Museum. First, let’s learn new words of this lesson.
Step 3 New words learning
Camera (take a real one)
T: What’s this?It’s a camera. (show a real one) (follow me)
T: What about this? This is a camera. (follow me)
Picture (show real one)
T: What is it?
S: It’s a picture/photo.
T: What are these?
S: These are pictures.
Take a picture
Take a picture (of s b.)=take one’s picture
T: Okay, may I take a picture of you all?
S: Sure!
T: look at the camera, say cheese!
S: Okay, okay.
T: This time, let’s make a funny face. Please stand beside your classmates. Ready? Let’s take a picture. 1, 2, 3.

Step 4 Demonstration
T: Just now, I have said that today, our topic is taking pictures at the Palace Museum. So, now, just imagine here is the Palace Museum, all of us are travelers, and we go on a trip the Palace Museum. The sky is blue, there are some birds flying in the sky. The Palace is red and yellow. It’s beautiful.

So, I want to take a picture. (Look at the screen, tell me, what dose “take a picture” mean?) (Walk to a student)

2.Cameras are easy
Here is the camera, don’t worry, cameras are easy. (Follow me)

So much for our new words learning, let’s go on our trip to the Palace Museum.
