The China Cultural Center in Wellington launched a 14-day online display of the

world heritage in China. It attracted many New Zealanders and local Chinese. A

Facebook user Simon Meikle expressed his fondness of those wonders in China and

Sichuan Giant Panda

Sanctuaries (保护区) Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries, covering 9,245 km2, is

the largest and most significant area of the panda's habitat

in the world. It is also home to other globally endangered

animals such as the red panda, the snow leopard(豹) and

the clouded leopard. It is also one of the richest areas for

area of 45,000 km2, Hoh Xil is one of the largest and

highest natural reserves(自然保护区)in China. Due to its

harsh climate with the lowest temperature at -46℃, it

is called the “third pole” of the world. It is home to

plateau(高原) wildlife such as the Tibetan antelope, the

snow leopard, and the brown bear. It was inscribed on the

World Heritage List in 2017.

Area Covering an area of 500 km2 in the northwest of Hunan

Province, the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest

Area has more than 3, 000 narrow sandstone pillars and
